Gotta give Joerger some love too. He called great timeouts and made some timely substitutions. The only thing I didn't like was making Buddy the PG and the last few possessions having Buddy dribble the ball.

Yo Coach, Buddy can't dribble so please save us the agony of watching him try to dribble around.

Fox shooting free throws like Rondo. It's hilarious how many times he shoots his shots off balance cause he can't stop himself in time. Bjelica is the man though, a 26 and 12 game never seemed so quiet

Fox getting 18 and 9 feels like it was just an average game for him
Fox did a much better job of finding shooters on the weakside. I saw a couple instances of getting his feet in the paint and kicking out to open shooters. With 9 assists he did a much better job of sharing the ball. When Bogdan comes back, if he plays like he did tonight and against OKC he could average 10 plus assists which makes the Kings a much better team and will also open the floor more for him to get to the hoop.

What's everyone's take on the Wall Fox comparisons that were being made in the draft last year, after seeing them go head to head tonight. Same style? Is Wall the best case scenario for Fox? Hope Fox can develop a better shot. (And Fox just seems like a nicer dude.)

Personally, I like Wednesday’s faster and more athletic Conley Jr comparison more.

Maybe he’ll be a Wall-Conley hybrid. John Wall’s speed and vision with Conley’s grit and progression

2 of his turnovers buddy and belli didn't help him by sliding to the corner 3. Tried to make the pass where he thought they were and didnt hit it. If they had slide down a little he would have saw them.

Wall couldn't shoot for years. Fox's ceiling is higher than Wall has turned out, though Wall's ceiling was originally projected higher. Fox has special talent, and has the mindset. In two years, Fox will be the better player.

Yeah I agree which is why I didn’t mention the turnovers. The point was he was looking for his shooters which was a positive.

Should we be concerned about Bagley getting upset when he didn’t get the ball or playing time? I mean it’s hard to take Willie and beli off

Get back to us after 4 game road trip
:)

I hate to be a party pooper, and almost didn't post it for being a kill joy, instead of just savoring a nice victory. Worse, when I have been among the relative optimists here. However, going into overdrive after 6 games is a rush best avoided, as that will likely lead to a crash landing. The team is certainly playing better than expected, is playing at a fun pace, guys have shown growth, and the arena will be rocking more regularly going forward.

The team will gain confidence and the guys will start believing in themselves, leading to more consistent performances. Return of Bogs will help. Despite all this, we will continue to remain a young team. We will have bad nights, many of them. Other teams will scout us better, and be more focused against us.

I don't think we contend for the 8th spot for long. Yet, this has the potential for being the best season in a while in terms of where we will be, even if the win total falls short of the Boogie era.

Bagley is playing fast and that’s a great thing but with the refs calling traveling on him and beji having a great game I would think the coach made the right decision.

That’s two games in a row where Buddy was trapped in the back court and fox wasn’t bringing the ball up.
I wonder if the coach wants the ball in his hands because of Fox’s problems at the line?

Our future opponents are watching and we have to adjust from the problem or it will cost us some games down the line but maybe we weather the storm when till we have bogi back.

Honestly, after cycling through Mclemore, Stauskas, and even Skal and JJ, I don't mind that at all. This team has enough nice guys and Bagley was drafted so high in large part to his motor and hunger. And its not like he is wrong here. He is right, Fox should have passed the ball in that sequence. He also showed that he is ready for more minutes.

Willie and Bjelicia are both playing better than him overall and the team is winning games so there should be nothing to complain about. Right now he is doing fine as the third big that brings energy. Most importantly he and the team are playing in a bunch of tight NBA games. Learning how to win and how to be a winning basketball player are more important than putting up stats on a bad team.

We have to get Bogdan back for those situations. He makes good decisions, shoots at a high percentage, and excels in pressure situations.
