[Game] Kings v. Suns 11/19/13

Mark this night on your calendars. Tonight was the night that we will point to as the night that it all started. Grab a seat, fasten your seat belt and hold on. It's gonna be one helluva ride.

And on the night of November 19th, the Sacramento Kings rode DeMarcus Cousins to a big win to kick off a road trip and as Marcus Thornton and Chuck Hayes rode off together into the sunset, never to be seen again

My feet got cold during game I grabbed closest blanket to throw over them. I just noticed it was my daughters Edward and Bella twilight blanket. Has this been the key factor this whole time?

Speaking of which, when the heck did Outlaw become a good role player? Dude had that big shot, 9 rebounds, and played some really strong defense. Scary as it is, he's been one of our most consistent players
He minimized the the dribble, take a step forward, shoot, brick thing he always used to do. The problem with Outlaw was that he refused to just be a spot up shooter. He seems to have accepted that and his shooting percentages have increased dramatically. At this point I will take his rebounding and length over Salmons or Thornton.

Either that or the brandy I chugged when DFC hit the floor diving for the loose ball. (I forgot it was brandy, thought it was my soda...oops. ;) )

Coach Malone just said that Travis stays late and came up big tonight with his late in shot clock jumper to help secure the win. Outlaw has solid NBA talent, has played big, consistent, lighting it up in the past in Portland, plus a good team professional in every way. Apparently, he just needed Assistant Coach Jent to tell him not to jump too high (as he skies naturally) and just let his jump shot flow easy, smooth, SWISH! A much better shooter than Salmons - are you kidding me!!

Oh and I expect you to be full blown alcoholic by seasons end now. If I have to seek refuge under Edward and Bella you have to chug Brandy every game

Deal.

He got a contract from the Nets for what he did with the Blazers ( good shooting, rebounding) seems hes finally over the hand injury that hurt him last year. I admit I cringed when he took that last shot....glad I was wrong when it went in.

I cringed too because he doesn't make them often, though he has been pretty consistent with missing and making baskets as of late. And FINALLY looking to pass first too, which is a +

Ben looked NBA quality and giving us a snapshot to be hopeful for is the biggest thing for me tonight
yep. still rushing his shot a little too, you have to imagine when he gets a little more comfortable a few more of those 3s are going to fall and a game like tonight would have ended up a 28pt night for him

Thank you. There is absolutely no reason to play Hayes or Salmons. The front court rotation can be Cousins/Thompson/Patterson/Ndiaye. Outlaw and Moute can split minutes at the 3.
yep, there really isn't. He bothers and blocks shots with his length (something Hayes cannot do), he attacks the glass (Hayes can't grab a rebound if it bounces right at his face), he runs the floor (chuck can barely run) and he doesn't even care to touch the ball on offense.

and i totally agree with the SF minutes
