Kings v. Hornets PBP

Good evening fellow Kings fans!

It's almost game time and luckily I got everything done up here in the forest in time to get to my computer!

I've got my lucky socks, purple slippers and Christie jersey on. My favorite beverage has been chilling all day in the frig! There's turkey roast in the oven that should be ready in time for a nice half-time sandwich and I have plenty in case any of you want to drive up here and share!

This should be a fairly easy night for the Kings, but you never want to overlook a team with nothing to lose.

I wouldn't want to be the Hornets tonight. Generally, when the Kings have been the victims of a blowout in their own house, the next team stepping into Arco pays the price.

You've got time for a quick stretch of your legs before game time. I'm not even talking about the pre-game show because, aside from showing clips of Vlade's tribute AND showing Darius and a couple other guys helping give out Christmas baskets in Oak Park, it's not that memorable.

PLAYER UPDATE: Grant just announced that Chris Webber will not play because of the knee. I'm guessing it's precautionary, just like before, and should actually give Darius a pretty good night on the floor. Wish I hadn't already posted my predictions!

Man, work is boring, thank God I have the Kings here this morning to entertain me. Granted, I don't have a TV at work, but I'm sure VF's play-by-play commentary will suffice.

I am guessing they want to keep Webber as fresh as possible. If it means not playing him against very weak teams than i am all for it. We a have a grueling schedule coming up after the first of the year in January and February. I just hope we can score over 100.

The Hornets are 2-20. We don't need Webber out there. You should get used to this. It will happen periodically during the season and probably for the rest of Webber's career... and it doesn't bother me in the least.

If we can't beat the train wreck that is the Hornets with the rest of the team, we don't deserve to be in the NBA.

You'd have to see my living room to understand, but the TV can only be in one spot in the room. Because of the non-movability of the wood stove, the couch can only be in one spot. That leaves only one spot for the computer.
