Don't Make Me Use The Bat

Cousins with back to back 50+ point games. Can't wait.
That would of course add epic to the epic, and I emant to mention this little factoid:

The last two monster nights have left him suddenly only a smidge behind Harden fro taking over 2nd place in the NBA scoring race.

Unfortunately after a double OT war and monster game, I would be happy if he even just managed his averages tonight. In the end, somebody else just has to quit being a ***** and step up. Rondo, Casspi, Ben, Rudy if he plays, I don't care. Belinelli is so far beyond due its not funny. But somebody has to give Cuz some help. I don't care who. We need a 2nd 20pt scorer tonight, or at least a couple of 15-20pt guys who don't look scared everytime Cuz leaves the floor. Its early, but this is klnd of a significant game for all that.

I will remain hopeful that at the very least we can be competitive tonight, but this will most likely be a loss and it wouldn't surprise me at all if it was a blowout. We are tired, our big guy is exhausted after holding us up for 2 games playing the best basketball that I have ever seen a King's player play, but the Blazers are constructed to hit us where we are weakest, from the perimeter. Who knows if Rudy is going to play and even if he does, how effective will he be? Cousins is no doubt reaching exhaustion, but I would love another huge game and hopefully a win. Rondo will be his usual self, but the odds are stacked against us. History also shows Cousins is significantly worse in back to backs and has a tendency to hack folks when tired. We need you big fella, even if it's only at 50%. Don't have a prayer otherwise.

Given the game that took place last night and Rudy being out, I would be shocked if we win this one. Miracles do happen but I expect us to be as flat as a pan cake in this one and their guards will kill up from the long range.

I'm fully expecting a loss tonight. Last night took a LOT out of the players, both emotionally and physically. Plus, we are missing our #2 scoring option. We're 2-9 this year on the second night of back-to-backs (although the two we did win were the last two we played so we may be turning the corner on that stat).

The only reason I have a glimmer of hope is because Cousins has a chance of going full beast mode again. And even that may not get it done.

It's all about Karl's rotations and who plays. If he continues to sticks with players because they been in the league longer vs their defense, we will again have an uphill battle.

Will be tough tonight.....lets see if we can dig deep. We already faced Portland and McCollum single handedly beat us. I'd like to see adjustments made by Karl.
