It's finally here! The opening game of the year for our Sacramento Kings!!!
For those of you new to the PBP thread, this is a play-by-play. I'm watching the game and reporting on it to the best of my ability. I'll make the occasional mistake. I'm doing this not to be perfect but to give a report of the game to our members who may not be able to view it or hear it and want to experience the game through the eyes of a long-time admitted Kings homer fan. It's not interactive; I ask people not to comment but just read along and enjoy.
We do have our game discussion thread where you can share your feelings about the game as it happens. Started by piksi, who is already in mid-season form, the thread is always one you'll want to check out. Even if you only read piksi's introduction, I think you'll find it entertaining.
We also have chat at mIRC. Hosted by Mr. S£im Citrus, it's a great way to talk about the game. It's on server irc.bludgeon.org and the channel is #kingsfans.
After the game, you'll want to make sure and check out the game grades by Bricklayer. Bricklayer takes a critical look at the players and the coach and gives his grades for their performance. It's almost always the basis for some really good discussion.
Everything here at Kingsfans.com is possible because of the generosity and dedication of our board owner, the Grand Poobah, JGar. If you would like to help defray costs of keeping Kingsfans.com up and running as the #1 Sacramento Kings Online Community, please consider becoming a Contributing Member. There is no obligation for you to do so, of course, but if you do you get a nifty custom user title, a larger avatar and some other stuff.
It's been a long TDOS. Pre-season was okay, but TODAY is the day we've all been waiting for.
Welcome to Kingsfans.com and the 2006-2007 season of the Sacramento Kings!
I LOVE THIS TEAM!!!
