Kings Trade to Lakers?

This aint a rumor just a great trade a realized at realgm.com. Lakers trade expiring contracts of Jordan Farmar, Adam Morrison, and Derek Fisher. Kings trade players they wont need in the future and have long contracts were are Beno Udrih and Andres Nocoini, and throw Sean May in there. The trade works money wise. Lakers get better at pg and recieve more in return, but the Kings would have 28 million to use in offseason if this deal happens before deadline. Both Udrih and Noc make around 6 million, so this trade does shed around 12 million. Petition this **** or tell Petrie to look at this thread lol.

No way do I ever condone a trade with the Lakers.

It essentially amounts to: "Here Lakers, we want you to have another one sided trade so we'll trade you a good off the ball guard and a small forward that could get hot for you guys off the bench (though the way he's playing, they could suddenly deflate themselves into the race for John Wall). In exchange, we'll take a bunch of expirings that we really have absolutely no use for."

Plus Adam Morrison has a creepy mustache and chucks shots more than Rookie Donte did and Fisher would be a good way to alienate the entire fan base.

I guess I'm confused but I do not see the benefit to the Lakers in this deal. And we all know the Lakers don't do trades that actually help the other team. All those expirings do them a helluva lot more good than Udrih and/or Nocioni would do.

Yeah. Their talent is gong to come back to bite them come salary time.

Agreed, they might be interested in Udrih but I doubt it. I'm sure they'd prefer to just let those guys expire and see what they can get with the MLE.

Don't trade away draft picks, you never trade a big for a small and you never trade with the Lakers.

Just some rules to live by:D

I can't beleive im saying this, but I'd do this. I think the Lakers would have to think about it as well. Granted, Noc and Beno are overpayed but both those guys would fit perfectly on the Lakers. Theyre already way over the lux tax and they arent going under the cap before either of the contracts expire.

For the Kings we shed our worst two salaries and could offer a max contract to any of the big name guys this offseason to come play with Tyreke and KMart.

Udrih is way better than Fisher (we can just waive Fisher so he wont disease are jerseys). Could throw in Cisco instead of Noc, but I wouldnt. So 1 person likes this trade..... lol i thought it was awesome.

A LOT of players are better than Fisher right now, doesn't mean the Lakers are willing to take on whatever contract to get them.

The trade is great, great pg for kobes, fisher is god awful. Lakers get more in return obviously, unless Morrison turns into Larry Bird

I messaged Gavin Maloof about it lol.

I don't think Nocioni can be traded easily, given his albatross contract and extremely inconsistent play as of late. No team is going to live off his past and just accept him because of that.

Noc
Sergio
2nd rounder

for

Morrison
farmar
1st rounder

thats THE ONLY way i would even entertain the lakers... and take note the word Entertain.... i will be hesitant to pull the trigger still

I dont like to give them this much credit. They traded Shaq to the Heat and the Heat won their first NBA championship. Id say that helped the heat. They also essentially traded Ariza for Artest and now the Rockets have a winning record when everyone thought theyd be the worst team in the league. That helped the Rockets.

I don't think they were banking on Ron Ron being Ron Ron and "falling" down the stairs or for Ariza to suddenly blossom. They also probably thought Shaq was on th e downswing of hi career (which turned out to be true)

I don't think Ariza is anything more this year than the Lakers anticipated he'd be. Plus, Houston is playing Ariza in a role that he's simply just not suited for and that's why he's shooting under 40%.
