I think you mean more cash "in" my vests.
What do you think they are lined with?

Plus even if he’s not particularly good anymore, Javale is probably still better than Robin at this point in their careers.
I do think Fox will turn it back around, but the scary thing is the Kings are right in that area of close to play in if he doesn't. The Lakers and Mavs are in the rear view. The Kings have home games ahead, take care of home and it's all good.
For the most part it was Christmas where everybody got socks. Few of the players we really wanted moved (especially if considering the Raptors moved early on Siakim and OG and we couldn't meet their ask for whatever reason). For all the doomers keep in mind it looks like there weren't any earth-shaking trades anywhere in the league, unless you count the Sixers picking up Buddy

I'd say the Knicks changed some landscape. Bojan for peanuts was a pretty great move. The thing is the teams at the top are set and the Suns got better for sure. No, not earthshaking but they turned blah into even better 3 and D/offensive punch. The Suns even got their new PJ Tucker size wise, haha. The Mavs added a talented player too. We'll see what goes down from here. Thankfully the Lakers didn't add though. That helps.
Any guy this funny is a travesty is not on the team.
SLAB what timeline are we on where you and I are huddling in the corner together hopeing for better days and fending off hordes infected with the disease of false hope? A plot twist I could not have predicted. Can I interest you in this LASAGNA my friend? There's some sauce around here somewhere...

I know fans are upset but unless you are finding upgrades to KVon, Barnes, Lyles Monk or Davion, what could Monte really do? And at what cost are you willing to make an upgrade? Would y’all trade a first round pick for PJ Washington? Royce O’Neal is still living off his reputation as a defender from 3 years ago, he probably would be getting Duarte level minutes with us. If I had known Pat Bev was available for a second rounder I would have snatched him up but I’m guessing Philly did him a solid by sending him to a true contender. Monte showed he would give up firsts but that was for Siakam.
I’m perfectly fine with Monte standing pat. Having said that, he has until the trade deadline next year to make moves assuming we don’t go on a crazy run to end the year. Stay out of the bottom 14, let that pick convey and then figure out the rest. He will have competition this summer. Lakers, Nets, Rockets, Sixers and Knicks are all teams that will have trade assets and will be dreaming big. The good news is all those teams are looking for a star where we will be likely looking for highend role player glue guys.
Oooh excellent point.I think the team will be active in the buyout market. Dinwiddie is interesting.

But I have to admit right now I am a little concerned we could fall into the play-in, lose and be stuck with our 2024 pick.
I’d also much rather have Neemias than McGee. At least then Brown would be forced to play LenThe disappointing side point in all of this, is that going into this season I'd have rather kept Davis and Metu over adding Duarte and McGee.
Ironically, I would have preferred "running it back" even more than they did
Yeah I mean the issue is then having 25 going to ATL and not being able to trade 26. or whatever. Also this draft is supposed to be mid. I don't have a favorite college player. And I don't follow the other notable entry-leagues.Yeh that wouldn’t be great but if did happen you could trade the rights to whoever is picked in ‘24 and then a future first or two. I’d much rather it convey and have a clear path.
This is such a weak draft. I’d rather take Colby over half of those guys being projected in the 1st…Yeh that wouldn’t be great but if did happen you could trade the rights to whoever is picked in ‘24 and then a future first or two. I’d much rather it convey and have a clear path.

Again, I'm not sure he does anymore, the problem from here on is the cap which I certainly wasn't paying attention to since I really thought Monte would say screw it and go for it at some point via trade and eat the luxury of being in the luxury. He might do that in the summer who knows. Monte should have at least got ahead of it and dumped some salary IMO. He's got work to do on draft night and that might not include adding talent unless it's a major deal. Keon, Edwards, and Malik coming back at his max puts the Kings close to the limit if they stay as is.
Anyone else think that Barnes and Huerter had reassurances that they weren’t being traded last month? It would explain both of their resurgences. Barnes especially played with newfound confidence seemingly out of nowhere
