Kings trade rumor SZN 2023-2024 edition!

Pacers got a pretty nice deal there since they didn't have to give up any real youth, them giving up 3 picks is something the Kings clearly couldn't match. Monte, you're getting pushed into the corner you always were. Get on the horn to Chicago and get it done.

Keon-Brown-Keegan at the 2-3-4 would solve a lot of our defensive problems.

Pass! I saw someone say he plays bigger than his size nope we need actual size. Can’t have the wings other contenders have just come bully us cause we’re throwing out 6’4 wings on them.

Actually Brown played quite a bit at the 4 with the Nets IIRC. He plays much bigger than he looks. As it is Keegan is basically playing PG a lot of the time if you're going by the defensive side.

Could get away with it at times during the regular season, but I'd hate it going into several potential playoff series

I wanted to express my appreciation to the contributors in this thread before the Trade Deadline arrives. The amount of thought, effort, and research that is evident in many posts are quite impressive along with most of those posts detailing the logic behind the proposal. It has been a positive educational experience.

After the Trade Deadline passes, the tone of this thread will likely change dramatically. So "good on ya'" to this point. May everyone get their wish (or at least something close).

If this is real this can be key for us to getting Grant and Thybull, they want barnes for shooting we can also throw them Huerter. Giving them both would help there shooting and both guys aren’t on bad contracts as well as Huston not having bad contracts. Houston doesn’t have there pick this year but they do have Brooklyn's 2026 pick we could try getting houston to send a 2027 first to Portland for barnes/ Huerter while not losing rotational players

Houston: Barnes and huerter
Portland: Tate, Landans, Jeff Green, Oladipo, Houston’s 2027 1st rounder, Sacramento 2026 1st rounder,
Sacramento: Grant and Thybull

Adding Grant/Thubull turns us into a good to great defensive team overnight that matches up with eatery team in the league. Our spacing will still be good having an elite shooter in Keegan, a decent shooter in Thybull (37%), and Grant (40%).
from what im reading, Portland has no desire to trade Grant, like his veteran leadership. who knows?

Thought I saw some beat writers saying he’s available. Barnes can provide them with the leadership with a swap and a first or pivot to Thybull/Brogdan

78 points at half with a lead of 35 against the Heat. Looks like the Raptors are moving to a more 3 pt shooting offense without Siakam

still like some combo of Grant/Thybulle and not-bogi rather than most of the names floated our way. Caruso if he's even on the table. If Lavine's contract is as toxic as has been alluded to we send salary for Lavine and Caruso plus a pick.

This trade season is evolving like most of the past trade deadlines.
most every big player either doesn’t want to come here or after weeks of we are trying to work out a deal Wham they go somewhere else.

I hope we get someone that makes a difference but what I believe is we are doomed to repeat last year’s example.

What big player said this? Siakam isn’t some big player and we have no assets for a big player, Lavine said he’d come here

If true that’s really bizarre. Are the Blazers rebuilding or trying to have two timelines? Grant, Brogdan, Thybulle and Time Lorde are all win now players and Scoot, Sharpe etc are future bets. Guys like Ayton and Simons are kind of in the middle. If you don’t trade Grant now he will have less value next year, same with Thybulle.

People must really love Grant. Both the Pistons and Blazers holding onto him for literally NO reason lol.

Oh I missed that they are with the kings now. so which all stars do you not believe we will trade for. By the way both of those players you mentioned are 2 times all-stars. and by the way pascal said he didn’t want to come here so you must of missed all of the reports.
So what I don’t figure is you asked what player said that and he was to expensive.

but your right we always will have the g league to fall back on.
