I thought last night that he looked old for the first time in his career. He’s definitely lost a couple of steps. He was struggling to drive past his defender all night long especially in the second half.

He should have slimmed down and instead added bulk.

LeBron has lost a step. So has Tom Brady.

Both play in salary cap leagues but one guy takes a haircut so that they can build the best team around him, the other guy is me first and pioneered the 3 guys get paid and fill in the blanks era of the NBA that may mercifully be coming to an end.

If I had to put money on either of them winning another championship I know where my money goes.

I think this will be Lebron’s first season of noticeable decline in production and effectiveness. Nothing against him, but not even Lebron is immune to aging.

If you have 42-year old Vince Carter as a mainstay in your lineup, your team isn't going to be very good. He is playing at the level of a marginal rotational player. I'm' pretty sure if his name wasn't Vince Carter, he wouldn't still be playing.

On topic, I'm going to go with 40-45 wins, but obviously hoping for more since I don't think 45 wins makes the playoffs.
