1) fire adelman- adelman is not a championship caliber coach... he is great for the regular season, but he just is not tough enough and does not emphasize defense in his coaching... he reminds me of don nelson... great regular season coach, but will never be tough enough to win a championship!!! i hope the maloofs will recognize this and bring in someone that can change the teams SOFT mentality... flip saunders, eric musselman, and pj carlisimo are canidates...
2) find a tough big man... the player does not have to be amare stodumire, but he needs to be able to be physical, play defense and get rebounds!!! someone like stromile swift or kwame brown are available big men...
3) find a defensive minded 2 guard... mobley is too small and selfish for the kings... if they can use him as sign and trade bait, that would be great... with the likes of kobe, allen, wade and ginobli in the league, the kings need someone who can body up to them and defend... bonzi wells would give the kings a tough SOB at shooting guard....
4) unload some of the mid-level contracts... otag, thomas, mobley, skinner, williamson... if they can package some of these players to get one of the players mentioned above, that would be great...
5) keep the core of Bibby, Peja and Miller intact... everyone else is tradable... get some tough defensive minded, hard nosed players and coach to surround the big 3!!!!
