Welcome, fellow Kings fans!

Hey, look! It's raining! This may be the one time I don't complain about the rain, especially since it's gonna keep the Suns from coming out.

;)

Here's what this morning's Bee has to say about tonight's game:

http://www.sacbee.com/content/sports/basketball/kings/story/14241740p-15061133c.html

KINGS UPDATE

Status: Around the league, teams who have rolled all season are going cold with the sort of timing that drives coaches batty. Meanwhile, the Kings have won six of seven games. They've done so in varying fashion, with four victories coming by nine points or more and two by three points. After going seven consecutive games without a Kings player scoring 30-plus points, Bonzi Wells, Mike Bibby (twice) and Brad Miller have done it the past four games.

Trend: The fact that the Kings hold a 2-1 edge over Phoenix this season means little, considering everything is judged on a pre-and post-Ron Artest basis. In the one game with Artest, the Kings lost 112-104 Feb. 10 at US Airways Center. Artest led the Kings with 28 points, but Bibby had just seven. Suns point guard Steve Nash had 24 points and 13 assists.

Injury report: None.

SUNS UPDATE

Status: The Suns could lose all six of their final games and still wind up in a better position than all of the preseason predictions, when the loss of Amare Stoudemire was supposed to spell their doom. Nonetheless, their impressive season has been slowed, as they have gone 8-9 since March 9.

Trend: For the first time in the past two seasons, Nash looks fallible. He has scored 15 points or fewer in six of the past 10 games, including a scoreless outing on 0-for-5 shooting in a 110-72 loss at New Jersey on March 27. He remains a strong candidate to repeat as MVP, but his hold on the crown may be slipping.

Injury report: Amare Stoudemire, right knee surgery, out; Kurt Thomas, right foot stress fracture, out; Dijon Thompson, right knee surgery, out.

Best matchup: Wells vs. Bell - Wells and Bell have similar styles, as both are capable scorers who enjoy manning up on defense. Back when Kevin Martin was starting, he beat Bell for 18 points with his quickness, but Wells will have to muscle past the physical defender.

Should be a good night for basketball. It's hard to believe the regular season is almost over. Am I the only one who, as recently as January, thought it would never end? And then, all of a sudden, things just started going a lot faster. ;)

piksi is back with his game discussion thread and Mr. Slim's CHAT PARTY LIVE will be hopping at mIRC, server irc.bludgeon.org, channel #kingsfans. Check them both out...

Everything here is possible because of the dedication and generosity of our board owner, the great and powerful JGar. ;) But we also need to say a big THANK YOU to our contributing members, whose donations help defray some of the costs of keeping Kingsfans.com up and running as the Sacramento Kings #1 Online Community. Now, let's think good thoughts and hope Kevin is back to flying high as the K-23 and that Cisco is on firm footing once again.

I LOVE THIS TEAM!

Lets hope Adelman doesn't take a 30 point lead going into the fourth quarter and leave his starters in most of the 4th!!!!! Lets hope Adelman forgets Jason Hart's existence and plays Ronnie Price. And finally, lets hope that Bibby takes his previous performance against Nashyboy personally and WHOMPS that chump into next preseason!!!!

Almost game time...
