Good afternoon, fellow Kings fans.
It's been a bright, shiny day here in the forest. The snow is melting pretty rapidly, leaving lots of puddles and mud in its wake. It's all good - at least I'm not going to be worried about forest fires in the foreseeable future.
I have my purple slippers, lucky socks, Bibby jersey and Kings blankey all ready. I've made the coffee, French Vanilla Gevalia again, and have corned beef and cabbage to make a sandwich at half-time.
I'd like to apologize for losing my temper a little during the last PBP. In my flimsy defense, it's hard to do this. I'm not going to be perfect and when people point out the errors and want clarification it gets very frustrating. I am watching the game as it unfolds on TV. If my score, etc. doesn't agree with one of the sports site game narratives, then two things are possible. Either they're slower to do updates than I am or I've made a mistake. If the mistake is mine, just read past it. I try to give scores, etc. often enough so that if I do make a mistake the next entry should correct it. I may also give credit or blame to a wrong player. I don't like to make mistakes, but one or a dozen are bound to turn up in a thread like this. So, please bear with me. I do try to give you the best possible impressions I can.
