Greetings, fellow Kings fans! Or should I say Deja vu? Seems like we just did this - recently. I hope the results as good as before...

Let's see what Sam Amick has to say about tonight's matchup:

Hrm. Apparently he has nothing to say. I suppose you can just check yesterday's PBP thread and, with the exception Miller, everything should be about the same. The key matchup will, once again, be Kevin Martin v. Ray Allen. If Kevin can better Allen in a third meeting, I'm pretty sure people are going to be talking again about our "baby-faced assassin."

Kings probable lineup: Bibby, Martin, Artest, Thomas, SAR
Sonics probable lineup: Ridnour, Allen, Lewis, Wilcox, Collison

I hope Kevin's leg is alright as that was a pretty huge icepack he had on it after some kind of mishap with about 4;30 remaining in the game. (I checked my PBP...) Kenny Thomas also left the game early with a strained back, so there's every possibility he might not start tonight. If he doesn't I think we might see Corliss at the starting 4.

In case you haven't read it elsewhere, the group at House Party Live last night was none other than some of the contributing members (and their families) of KINGSFANS.COM! Pretty cool, huh? Our thanks go our to our Goodwill Ambassador, 6th, who worked closely with MS&E to get this done.

My coffee is brewed and I've got a nice fire going in the woodstove. The rain stopped a couple of hours ago, and there's even a few patches of blue sky. It's still cold, however, and definitely looks more than winter than I've seen all season.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of you - whether you log on or lurk - for helping to keep Kingsfans.com as the #1 Sacramento Kings Online Community. First and foremost, however, I need to thank our board owner for his generosity and dedication. If you would like to help defray the costs of keeping our board up and running, please consider becoming a Contributing Member. Your donation goes towards software licensing, server expenses, etc. As a small token of appreciation, CMs receive a larger avatar, they can create their own custom user title, and they get first chance at things like the HPL event last night.

I think Arco will be rocking tonight and I hope Jim Kozimor mentions the "winning streak" promise Jerry Reynolds made. Grant confirmed with him last night that if the Kings do manage to put together a 7-game win streak, Reynolds will get his hair cut in a mohawk. Grant asked if he'd let Bibby or one of the other player do it, and Reynolds replied that at that point it really wouldn't matter who did it. :p

Okay, as always ...

GO KINGS!!!

we would have to win in Houston too

Would he be rooting for Houston in tht game ? Just wondering

Jerry Reynolds is so pro-Kings I think he'd root for them regardless. His hair will grow back; the impetus it might give the team would be HUGE.

Not to mention that we'd be back to only 2 games below .500, which is quite a damn accomplishment for this years team.

Ridnour airball; Artest board. Ridnour steals it back and gets it inside to Wilcox. You can hear the boos as Musselman calls a time out. Artest turns and waves "shhhh" to the crowd.

I am not happy about those boos. A team that has been struggling and yet manages to put together 5 wins in a row deserves a little better treatment from their home fans IMHO. That is NOT what Arco has ever been about. When you consider that Miller and Kenny are both out to injury (and Kenny plays some of his best ball against Seattle) AND Martin has an injured finger, ...

Oh crap. Whatever. I guess those of you who understand what I'm saying won't need to read more and if you agree with the booing, I won't convince you otherwise.

Wilcox to the line.

Makes first; Petro in for Collison. Makes second.

71-53 Sea
