Warhawk: Yes, buying multiple seats gets pretty costly. That's why I can only afford to take my son and DIL a few times. When I was a single mom, I just couldn't afford the luxury, although I was a firm Kings fan. I'd buy the occasional t-shirt back then.

But I can think of other events besides basketball that get pretty costly, too, especially for families. Of course, they are one time events only.

Sounds like there is no Kingsfan group section this season opener? I still have not gotten tickets, or decided to. It will be the first time I miss the home opener in several years. If it does not sell out, maybe I'll jump on at the last second. I've got a good pin collection going.

Since the Maloofs friend guaranteed sellouts, I went ahead and got my ticket for the opener. I, too, have a nice pin collection going and I want to see what the 25th season pin will look like.

I feel the same way. Its nice and everything but geez we have to resort to this to sell out openers?? We use to sell out every game even when we sucked, although I guess it is harder in this economy and with all the unemployment. But yes I do applaud this.
