Kings schedule - 2006-2007 (merged)

Does anyone know when CSN releases their schedule?

Aren't they showing all the games? I think the only exceptions might be games covered by News10...

Either way, I think it was a couple of weeks last year before they came out with the local coverage schedules.

Piksi i think all the LA fans are over with the rivarly we should to yes the past was intence but lets all move on.

Rivalry is what each person makes it. Let's not derail this thread, which is primarily about the schedule for 2006-2007. I do believe there's a discussion about whether or not the rivalry still exists back a week or so...

EDIT: In fact, TheJoker, you're the one that started that other thread.

Hey Evenstar, i am from texas . The weather is great just like Cali in the winter , San Antonio is probably the easiest city to drive in compared to Dallas, Austin or Houston .

I live in Arlington, 20 miles from dallas . I am planning to making trips to the AAC and even OKC to watch peja/bjax aganistt the kings . OK City is just 3-3.5 hrs from my place.

Actually, the KINGS schedule 06-07 isn't really all that bad considering. Miami for example has 8 of their first 10 on the road. Kings schedule of home-away games:

Home-Away
Nov 8-5
Dec 8-7
Jan 7-9
Feb 6-7
Mar 6-8
Apr 6-5

- longest road trip 6 games
- other road trips are 3, 4, 4, and 5. all others 2 or less
- 11 of the 22 back-to-backs include one game at Arco Arena
- After 3 away games to start season, Kings have 8 of next 10 at home
- The 2 Golden State away games are a 75 minute bus ride down I-80
- 3 of last 4 games are at home
- there is a week off in March to rest and get ready for final push

Overall I think it is a better schedule than Kings have had for a few years.

Kings preseason game at Lawlor in Reno

We definitely plan to attend that game. I was in Reno yesterday and stopped by the Lawlor Events Center ticket office and the tickets are not for sale yet. I guess there was a question about the start time. I will check every day until the tickets go up for sale. Bobby, Peja, Chris Paul and all of our new guys should make it a fun and exciting pre-season game. VF21 I will take our digital camera and post the pcitures after the game.

Well, that gets me off the hook, I'll get some pictures too, but something tells me that truckeekingsfan will have better seats. ;)

TKF - I'll see you there - send me a pm if you ever want to go hit the slopes!

How long does it take?

It's about 20 minutes in the air from Sac to Oakland. Koz, I think, once mentioned that it's not a fun flight because they don't go high enough to get over the rough air.

Driving Sac to Oakland can take as little as an hour or as many as four, in worst case traffic. It makes complete sense for them to fly there, just to take the traffic variable out of the travel time.

PreSeason game at Lawlor

The tickets for the preseason game at Lawlor Events Center went on sale today. There was an article in the Reno Gazette Journal today. They talked about the new coach and that they expect the tickets to sell out fast. I bought mine at tickets.com this afternoon. Was not in the mood to drive into Reno. It should be a fun game to attend.:)
