Does The Fan KHTK have a radio app for smartphones? Can't find one for my Droid, although I've downloaded apps for lots of other radio stations. Games are coming and I need my app!

On the Droid, get the "radio.com" app. Then just look up KHTK1140. I use it all the time.

I believe that the KHTK website (and smartphone Apps) play different programming during the actual games and you cannot listen to the game broadcasts.

Probably has to do with broadcasting rights for nba games.

Annoyingly you can't get it overseas.

That is true (although sometimes you can find the other team's broadcast and listen). Another option is the NBA Gametime app. You can get scores and stats for free, but last year it cost something like $9.99 to be able to listen to ALL the games for the season.

Never mind about the Gametime app. I just did a search for it and can no longer find it.

I used the game time app last year, worked fine. I'm pretty sure the NBA will release a new version for the season shortly and expect us to pay $10 for the radio again... and i will...

It would be nice if they would just update the existing app each year for new seasons, but they always want to milk every dollar out of the fans. So much for making it up to the fans for the lockout... They have already increased the costs of League Pass broadband this year.
