Kings Playoff Standings Watch!!!

what a mistake by Denver. Didn’t they have a time out? Your best shot was a Bruce Brown 3?

Clippers put PG13 and Plumlee on Jokic at the same time and the Nuggets pretty much puked all over themselves instead of trying to find a better option than a Bruce Brown desperation heave.

watching the Lake show highlights.

How awesome do they realistically have to be before they get past the win-two-or-you're-out stage of the play-in?

Who you gonna believe, @Vinny Basketballerino, or your lyin' eyes?

Ayyy!! My man Slim coming in with the backup.

I'll concede expertise to the Good Captain on the Collective Bargaining Agreement of the National Basketball Association of America* but does anybody really want to challenge me on food related topics? A man with Citrus in his name knows best. Can I get you a Limoncello?

@Capt. Factorial

And Canada

I'm sorry to hear that. I should clarify: in my mind everything south of Fresno is "LA".
I can only say there is a part of me that wishes I figured out how to stay there because I don't think there's any reasonable way I can afford to go back. Best place I ever lived (LA is near the bottom), but I think from about 25-45 it's a bit too expensive and you're kinda too old for the college party life but too young to appreciate the middle aged offerings. And I guess I need to live somewhere with 4 seasons because I took the beach and the sun for granted.

Had a good friend from high school who went there for college. I see why you miss it. Some great wineries around there as well. Name me the movie: "If anybody orders merlot I'm leaving. I am NOT drinking any ****** merlot!"

I think most people take the beach and sun for granted. A ton of Midwesterners move to beach towns thinking they will be out there all the time and then often find that daily life doesn’t work like that for most. My wife is from the Philippines and doesn’t know how to swim :D

Is that Sideways? I have never actually seen it. lol

Life is strange like that, no? I find that the local culture usually influences behavior more than the available amenities. Hawaii for example is a beachy place... but also everyone goes to the beach all the time. Something about the water there just makes you want to get in it all the time.

BINGO! Side note (pun intended): that movie decimated the merlot market. Knocked off hundreds of millions in annual sales. Conversely - pinot noir went from a relatively obsure varietal to mainstream overnight. Imagine writing one line in a movie that moved an entire market.
It's funny because it came out during my three year stay in hollywood and was notable because my SB connection and then I moved to Oregon a year later where Pinot is the apparent king varietal. At some point here it's like IPAs where you've had so freakin many just about anything else starts to sound good.
