Welcome, fellow Kings fans!
If you're reading this, it means you're not on your way to Arco...
Tonight's home opener should be about as opposite a style of play as possible from the game against the Suns. It should be a real test early on of just how our Kings are going to respond to lock-down defense, shot blocking and possible borderline thuggery.
This is the play-by-play, where I try and fill in the gaps for those of you who cannot see the game or hear it on radio. I'm not perfect, but I'll try my best to give you the flavor of the game from a long-time Kings homer point of view.

3. You can do both!

My beverage of choice for the evening is Diet Pepsi w/Lime. I've got a bowl of freshly popped pop corn and even a few left-over candy pumpkins. I've got my purple slippers on and my lucky Kings blankey is on my lap.
This is going to be an interesting game with some pretty tough match-ups. I'm sure the Arco faithful are up to the task...
I almost hesitate to mention it, but I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed that the guys don't come out in the fetching gold lamé unis. To wear gold against a team that has actually WON gold just seems a little lame to me.

One hour and 35 minutes until game time.
GO KINGS!!!!!
