maybe im being crazy, but i think if garcia doesnt do well, corliss could see some minutes behind ron?

I suspect Corliss will see more game time, but I'm not going to make a lot of assumptions after one pre-season game. We have more swing players now than in a long time. I believe the depth chart will be constantly shifting. We won't have a defined backup for all situations, as Musselman has said he's going to use substitutions more fluidly - depending on the circumstances and picking the best person for the particular moment at hand.

i didnt get to see the game, i was hopin by chance leauge pass woulda showed it, but i missed....but im liking what im reading!!

i was reading the PBP thread and im sooooo excited for the season better yet tusedays game when i can actually see them play....thanks VF for the PBP thread!

Also it says in the boxscore that Loren Woods and Jason Hart didnt play or at least there not listed in the boxscore as playing and it also said the attendence at the game was 30,720. Funny I didn't see 30,720 people at the game lol.

I'm already 10x happier with this team than what I saw last preseason.

Bibby and Brad looked good as did just about everyone else. Hart showed he could be useful. Corliss was impressive. Actually, the only thing that worried me was the long range bricks Artest kept chucking up. Let's hope it isn't a trend.

I was also impressed with Pooh. I can see why he got the invite. Small, fast and strong, he'll be a hard matchup. Too bad we aren't going to keep him. I'd like to see what he could do.

Even though that wasn't really the Mavs we played tonight we still looked good. I bet the Lakers will field a real team on Tuesday so we'll get to see that soon enough.

I guess Princeton really is dead...

They say Garcia had 1 block. I could have sworn he had at least two. That guy was a madman out there on defense. Got a few cheap fouls trying to block a few jumpers. But this guy looks like he was born to play basketball.

I don't really think all the hate on Salmons is justified. He had a rough start but he got going and playerd very well on defense.

11 steals and 7 blocks for the Kings. Every one of those stats were hard earned too.

GO KINGS!!!

i think garcia did have 2, like somoene said earlier the stats show loren as not even playing, so they could be wrong here too?

Some things I noticed.

Bibby played fantastic defense! The way he faught through screens and stayed on his man was truely a beautiful thing to see...Matador, NO MORE!

I really want Justin Williams to stick...I just have a feeling about him...When he can fill out his body and get some more stregth he could potentially be quite the interior defender and intimidator we need...He is much more useful to us than say a Jason Hart or Ukraine Train would be sitting on the end of the bench.

And with the game almost over, I am even more convinced Justin Williams needs to stay.

He seems to have a nose for the ball, and is always jumping around wherever the ball is, wether it be on defense or him rebounding.

He altered quite a few shots, and I saw him swat away some too.

And even if he doesn't fill out, there is nothing wrong with a hyper-active shot-blocking, offensivly retarded Keon Clark on the floor...Especially when you have an Artest/Bibby/SAR/Martin flanking him.

Just keep him, or else I will be passionatly pissed.
