Brown, Martin, Garcia, THompson and Moore.

Martin with the ball, well covered by Almond, tries to get inside as shot clock winds down. Martin heads to the line.

Misses first; makes second.

65-62 KINGS

Jackson in for Brown.

Jazz ball.

Price drives inside, he's met in the air by Jason Thompson, who blocks the shot and then collides with Ronnie as the buzzer sounds to end the quarter.

The offiicals call a foul on Jason?!?!?!?!? Wow. That really sucks. The officials review the play to see if there was time left on the clock. It CLEARLY shows Jason got ball first and then had contact with Price, but they cannot overrule that call and since there was, in fact, time left Ronnie Price heads to the freaking line. That right there is reason enough for a challenge system of some kind to be instituted.

What a crock.

Price makes first; makes second. Moore QUICKLY steps oob and send the outlet pass the full length of the court to the sprinting Martin, AND HE'S FOULED BY THE JAZZ with 0.6 seconds left. Martin to the line.

Bwahahahahahahaha!

Martin makes first; misses second.

66-64 KINGS

And TCR has another in-depth fluff piece, with a video clip of Jerry Sloan talking about what it was like to coach a young Reggie Theus. Sloan looked like he'd rather be getting a root canal than have to participate.

Kings ball. They call time out and head to commercial.

Seeing Hawes out there for the majority of the time does my heart good. And he's thriving with the increased minutes. The look on his face pretty much tells the tale. This is a young man with focus, heart and hustle. I think we may be seeing our new team leader. He's tough and tenacious and he's improving with every single game he plays. I love this kid.

:)

Kings will inbound.

Udrih, Martin, DOUBY?!?!??!?!?, Hawes and Miller

WTF?!?!??!?!

Kings miss; Jazz rebound.

Korver turnaround jumper altered by Douby, Hawes rebound.

Udrih pass to Hawes, who sees Miller under the basket and makes an excellent pass to Brad. Miller fouled and heading to the line.

Jerry actually trying to sell us on the "Quincy Douby is a much better defender than he's given credit for..."

Miller makes both.

85-84 Jazz

DE-FENSE!!!

Jazz for two.

87-84 Jazz

Udrih to Miller, to Hawes and back to Miller for two.

87-86 Jazz

Korver miss; Hawes finds the reoubnd. Hawes to Martin, out to Douby in the corner and he misses the three that would have given the Kings the lead. Holy crap.

1;57 left

Jazz miss; Douby rebound. He drives inside, fouled hard and heading to the line.

Douby makes first; and second.

88-87 KINGS

Jazz ball.

Deron Williams bounce pass to Milsap for two and the +1. Bonus doesn't go.

90-89 KINGS

Williams for two.

91-90 Jazz

1;00 left

Udrih with the ball, drives inside. Kicks out to Douby in the corner, freaking airball. Jazz rebound.

I am NOT a happy camper!!!!!!

Deron Williams for two more.

93-90 Jazz

If there is any rational reason for Quincy Douby to be taking those pressure shots, I don't know what it is. Francisco Garcia should be out there, not Quincy Douby.

When Douby was at the line, Garcia was on the sidelines, facing away from the court - which is totally out of character for him - and hanging on Moore's shoulder. His body langauge said it all. He WANTED to be out there and could not imagine why Douby had gotten the nod.

FIRE REGGIE THEUS!!!!

And yes, I'm pissed.

Kings to inbound.

Douby inbounds, Martin can't get loose, drives inside and hands off to Miller, whose shot won't fall. I thought he was fouled but he didn't make too much of a fuss so maybe not. Jazz fouled and heading to the line.

First is good; second misses and Jazz get the rebound. Korver fouled and heading to the line with 10.1 seconds left.

94-90 Jazz

Korver misses first; makes second.

95-90 Jazz

Grant and Jerry saying the Kings couldn't find the offense to close out the game. Well, duh! They couldn't find the offense because, all of a sudden, we've got a guy coming off the bench who hasn't played all game and he's taking the clutch shots?!?!?!

I'm very sorry but there is NO WAY that makes sense. NONE. Cisco's body language says it all. He wanted to be out there and Reggie went with Douby. That sucks.

There's gonna be some fouls and the final score may change but Reggie Theus lost us this game with a ridiculous substitution at the end.

Quincy freaking Douby?????????

Bite me, Reggie Theus. And I'm sorry if that offends anyone.

Booo!!!

97-94 Jazz
