[Game] Kings @ Jazz - 1/14/16 - 6 PT, 9 ET

Rudy has been inconsistent but he's also the guy who brought Rondo here. If we're trading him, Rondo is going elsewhere. If Rondo goes elsewhere, Cousins will not be happy. So we are kinda stuck with the 3.

My thoughts on Rudy

The less he touches the ball per shot taken, the better

He can take 15 shots

Just keep the ball moving and be decisive

the same day a Rudy Gay is being shopped rumor appears is the same day he nails the game winning shot...maybe that will boost his trade value now. Prior to that shot he made a three as well so he did come up clutch in the fourth.

Rudy Gay is somewhere between 5th best and around 8th best small forward on rosters of all 30 teams in NBA. That's OK, that's good enough - #8 stays for now in Sactown. Meanwhile, malignant enigma that is YOUR Sacramento Kings in 2016 continues - where it ends no one knows.

We dominated them on the boards and they shot 6 of 34 for 17.6% (!!!!) from 3 and we get the last second win on a basket from Rudy. A win is a win nowadays but come on, we had a 8 point lead with 1:20 to go. How many games have we lost with a 7-8 point lead with 90 seconds or less left? Mavs for sure. First @OKC game as well, I think. This is a start but we need more consistent offensive sets out of timeouts.

We shot badly from the FT line. That played a pretty big part in not putting them away early.
