NOH ball. West miss; Martin rebound.

Kevin Martin has definitely stepped up his game. Martin to Garcia, to SAR, out to Garica, who passes up jumper and drives inside, misses but gets his own rebound. Finally gets the third chance to fall.

96-83 NOH

Garcia for the steal, misses and sails oob leaving Peja wide open in the corner. Need I say what happened?

99-83 NOH

Martin drives inside, shot misses off the front iron, Martin mauled again and no call.

Peja for two at the other end.

Theus calls time out.

Kings ball.

Salmons, Martin, Garcia, SAR and Miller for the Kings.

Salmons pass, intended for Martin, knocked oob. Still Kings ball. Salmons miss; Paul rebound.

Paul drives inside, gets the bucket and the +1.

103-83 NOH

Bonus good.

104-83 NOH

Garcia to Salmons inside, ball ends up oob but might have been off NOH.

Time out and comemrcial.

I think a big part of the NOH game plan was "Mug Kevin Martin" ... and it's something Kevin and the Kings are going to have to get used to. He, Garcia and Salmons will have to be totally in synch at all times to be effective.

In other news, I think this Chris Paul might actually end up sticking around the league for a few years...

Kings to inbound.

Salmons to Greene, who avoids the trap and kicks cross court to Salmons. Salmons puts the ball on the floor and is fouled, sending him to the line.

Makes first; misses second. NOH with the rebound.

Lead alley pass to Greene for the oop.

West miss; Salmons rebound. Salmons up and under for two.

104-90 NOH

13 seconds left. NOH runs out the clock.

Game over.

For the record, I am not disappointed in this game at all. The King showed heart in not giving up, and Cisco played - for the most part - within his own skin.

I didn't think we'd win with Bibby and Artest out, and seeing Douby looking like a cartoon character with tweety birds floating around his head only reinforced that belief. But this was a game where the team TRIED and focused and kept up the hustle, even at the end.

I LOVE THIS TEAM!!!
