Another loss in another pathetic performance got Kings to 15-27. Kings are 0-5 on this never ending trip. After 6 straight losses and 10 losses out of the last 11 games Kings are going deep in the lottery which is obviously needed. January record of 1-10 is tired for the worst with the NBDL team from New Jersey. Can't wait for April 15th.

Maybe, just maybe the rest of you has caught up with the idea that Kings just might not make playoffs this season.
This is our first rebuilding year. We wasted too much time in the past 3-4 years quick fixing the unfixable, putting band aid on a gunshot wound. We have made some good moved but we are so far away. Unless we trade for a major big man and draft well - we
won't see any playoff next season either. It is not a big deal.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Our rookies are tired and that is normal too. We don't have any veterans to lift them so we struggle big time. That is called rebuilding. I expect them to consolidate after the all star break. We expect way too much from them. This league is too loaded with talent. We need to be patient. It will happen
------------------------------------------------------------------
What is happening to us is a combination of several things. We are not very good to begin with. The team is not well constructed with major weaknesses up front. Our best players are rookies and they are tired. We had some injuries too. We can't sneak up on teams anymore. As the season progresses teams are playing better and our narrow margin for errors disappears quickly. All in all we are a 15-27 team. Maybe we even overachieved.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
One good half in Atlanta was followed by one good quarter in Orlando. Magic are difficult matchup for us because they have Howard and we don't and because they don't have what we have. We shot 33% and 66% from FT line. It wasn't even that good because the long garbage time offset the stats a bit. If Orlando didn't have 23 turnover - we would have lost by 50. Other than Sergio in the garbage time - no one gave a damn. well, maybe Evans but not for a long. D12 made 11 of 12 FTs.![Eek! ](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
my matchups:
Evans vs Orlando back court - JJ Reddick dominated the game![Wink ;) ;)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
Barnes, Anderson & J Will vs TDM - Who gets it? JJ Reddick
Brockman vs D12 - this will be fun. can john do anything else but foul out ? It wasn't fun at all
Vince Carter vs Kevin Martin - who will miss more ? Kevin dominated
Nocioni vs bad shot on his first possesion in the game - can there be something else ? 2-9 from the field, missed ton of layups
------------------------------------------------------
AWARD TIME
TDM - JJ Redick had a good night
LW-VC -Barnes used to play better
JHA - Evans
MIKKI - everyone else
SAR - Metuselah - A. no neck J.
RA&1 - Aj again. 50 years ago they would call him karate kid
Jax/Walk - Pietrus manages to beat out Kings players for this honor
WTF moment of the game - game is over, garbage time and the man with no neck decides to adverise violence for no reason at all
-------------------------------------------------------------------
In case you are masochistic like I am and decide to ruin Saturday by watching another Kings torture/game - Kings will be in Miami at least physically. Mentally, some of them are at home and some play like it is April 15th. This is a game where coaching stuff has to come up with something other than yet another lineup change. Maybe slap some players around or pull a gun or two. Anything that will make this team give a damn. Tomorrow night we have to show up with different attitude. If we don't - we will lose no matter what happens.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
my matchups:
Evans vs Wade reloaded - it was a great battle in Sacramento back when we looked like a basketball team
Refer Alston vs RA&1 award - hopefully
QRich vs. Jax/Walk award - we need that one
Kings team vs lack of character - wake up guys
-------------------------------------------------
Evans - lack of motivation
Thompson - terrible
Greene - awful
Martin - pathetic
Brockman -too short
Casspi - lost
Hawes - wuss
Nocioni -![Roll Eyes  ](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
Udrih - 2009 back flash
rest = mateen

Heat are 5th in the East playing around .500 ball 22-10, 5-5 in the last 10 games, 12-10 at home. Basically, mediocre. They did what we couldn't winning in Washington tonight so it will be back to back for both teams. They have Refer Alston starting which tells a lot about them. Solid team, beatable but probably not for us. Haslem gets the TDM. LW-VC will go to Beasley. I would settle for a decent performance here.
