[Game] Kings @ Grizzlies - 3/2/16 - 5 PT, 8 ET

Utah lost, Portland lost, and Houston about to lose a close 1, and here we are can't even shoot free throws when it matters
We were out of the playoff race a few weeks ago in all reality. As I have previously stated this team is better off getting a good pick and reloading this summer than trying and failing to make the playoffs. We need a competent GM and Coach in place to really make noise. I completely agree it is entirely frustrating to watch us pee away game after game, but I am full heartedly holding the belief that we have the pieces to build around, but just lack the correct architect.

I seem to have developed a good attitude towards these games. I'm not enraged at the Kings or any of you forum members.

Same, watching the wheels fall off with this team made me not want to argue with anyone anymore and just sympathize with all forum members lol.

This is progress. Normally kings only play defense for one quarter. Usually the 4th. Tonight they played the 3rd and 4th. Imagine how it would be if they played defense all 4 quarters.

Memphis missed a lot of open 3's, its no surprise we have our best defensive stints vs teams that don't shoot the outside ball well. Unfortunately most NBA teams are fully on the "take as many 3's as humanely possible" strategy.

Mixture of the Birdman, ZBo, Matt Barnes and Lance Stephenson. That team is toxic.
Toxic and like 6-2 since Marc went down......toxic winning >toxic losing

I'm a die hard Kings fan. That's never going to change. However, since these recent seasons have been so gruesome to watch, at least we can enjoy a championship Warriors team not too far from here. It's like a temporary fix lol.

They played the Lakers Twice, Nuggets, Kings, Suns, Nets, Raptors and i forgot the last team. That's a fairly easy 8 game stretch.
All the good or decent teams beat teams they are suppose to its exactly the thing this team has not done this year which is why we are not in the playoff hunt. The Spurs record against thee elite teams this year sucks including a number of blowouts but they smash everyone else like a good team does.

I am ninety percent sure that we do, in fact, have a winning record against losing teams. We have actually beaten all of those teams at least once, and swept more than half of them, but I feel pretty confident that if we'd had an eight-game winning streak involving wins over those teams, you'd be one of the first people in here to tell us how the streak didn't mean anything.

Also, I'm not really sure how you come to the conclusion that the Spurs' record against elite teams "sucks," when there are only two elite teams, and they don't have to play themselves, and they've only played the other team once?

We are 15-9 against currently losing teams. However, we do not have a win against either Minnesota (0-2) or New Orleans (0-2) yet. We have swept 6 of the 12 to this point, so exactly half.

The "more than half" I was referring to were the teams specifically listed in the quoted post in question: Lakers, Nuggets, Suns, Nets, Raptors. That's five teams, and we've swept more than half of them.

To be fair, you didn't actually quote the post you were referring to, so I assumed that "all of those teams" referred to the only possible referent in your own post, which was "losing teams".
