Thanks JCar for the link to this article. What particularly stood out to me while reading was Tyreke's defense during that last game. As a Central Valley Kings fan, I have not been able to actually see or hear any of the preaseason games (rely on Yahoo sports box score during games ) as well as relying on information I can gleam from the many knowledgeable members of this forum. However, all I have heard and read about Tyreke has essentially been focused an argument on his ideal position on the floor (pg or sg or sf), his lack of an outside shooting touch, his lack of court vision at this early stage, etc. etc. Never have I heard or read anything about his defense?

The article reads "with his major role in limiting Monta Ellis and C.J. Watson to a combined 6-of-24 from the field on Saturday, Tyreke Evans continued to show why fans and pundits are already projecting him among the Rookie of the Year candidates this season." For those of you who have actually seen him in action, is he really the defensive stopper as indicated in this statement? Has he proven to be this good defensively is all the preseason games to date? Not that I needed another reason to become a fan of Tyreke, but if he also has this dimension to his game I will really be excited about the season and to actually see him in person!

Go Kings!!! (and Tyreke!)

Can someone explain to me why our center is out there actually practising 3 point shooting with a coach?
