Anyone know the expected depth chart for the kings this year? I checked out espn.com, but I'm not sure if that is accurate/updated. Would anyone happen to know what it is going to be for the start of the season/preseason?
PG: Mike Bibby, Jason Hart, Ronnie Price, Pooh Jeter
SG: Kevin Martin, John Salmons, Quincy Douby
SF: Ron Artest, Francisco Garcia, Corliss Williamson
PF: Kenny Thomas, Shareef Abdur-Rahim, Maurice Taylor, Louis Amundson
C: Brad Miller, Loren Woods, Vitaly Potapenko, Justin Williams
Now obviously we have some swingmen, but this should be a decent general breakdown for you.
Thanks man... ya think kevin martin will start over salmons? There has been some debate and Salmons has been doin well in preseason and training camp...
i dont think douby will see much time directly behind bibby in the beginning of the year, and i think its pretty clear that kenny will be the starting four
Salmons or Price will take over the ballhandling duties. Im actually hoping Price backs up Bibby but i can see Douby doing it if Price doesn't impress.
Ya I am just guessing I don't know. I think Rahim though will be the starting four no matter how much Kenny Thomas doesn't like it because like Musselman said he is going to lean on Rahim alot because out of all the players he has coached him before and knows him the best.

That's going to be one of the biggest things is if SAR and KT can coexist...just think of it as a NFL team and the coaches flips a coin to see who is the starter. I really hope that Muss uses these 2 guys based on the matchup as they both bring different things to the table. We need rebounding very bad so we bring in KT, we need a post game and some decent defending so we bring in SAR. While SAR wasn't an impressive rebounder last year, I hope he hit the gym hard in the offseason and is back to himself a near 20 pt/8 or so rebounds a game (didn't he do this at some point in his career, almost a double/double every game)? He plays the traditional PF role of posting up and has the size at 6' 9". KT heavily relies on this speed and good rebounding skills while doing what he can playing PF in the West at a small tweener 6' 7", he is really a SF, but his shot really scares me no matter what he plays, he has a sort of skip jump backwards...SAR isn't much better with his flat shot that has to be right on the $ with the lack of arc it has.
This should be a good fun season to see how things go with the new coach, a full year of Artest, KMart starting at the 2, Bibby finally having a backup, Brad having a backup. I really hope these 2 guys play tougher now that they can rest a little bit, however, we really on them so much for our offense I feel they hold back a lot because they don't want to get in foul trouble. Well at least I feel Muss will use his bench of, Potato, Woods, Price, Taylor, etc who might not play much will use their 6 foul game ration. Potato & Corliss could at least be our inforcers/bruisers and knock people around a bit like Ginobly, Kobie, AI. Send them to the floor when they try to go to the hoop on us. You know old school like the Pistons did to Jordan in the early Bulls year of the 80's before Jordan had a supporting cast and he had to put up #s like Kobie is doing now for the Lakers (I mean LA Kobies) to even just give his team a chance at winning.
