Kings corner: Playoff crunch forces Kings to muscle up
Diary with Corliss Williamson

It's been a good week. After we beat the Clippers last Sunday at home, we had an embarrassing loss at Dallas, but I like the way we came back. That lets us know how we're capable of playing, as far as finding ways to win.

It may not be pretty how we're winning, but beating playoff-caliber teams lets us know how we're supposed to play.

The playoffs are going to be more physical, and we can't continue to look at referees when we don't get calls. It's going to be tough and physical, and we're not going to get calls we got in the regular season.

We were more of a finesse team, and now we have the type of players that are capable of playing very physical, playoff-style basketball. We're taking more pride in using our style, physical strength, because of players such as Ron (Artest) and Bonzi (Wells) and other guys playing well.

First, we have to get in. We've played well against San Antonio and Phoenix, and those are the teams who we'll play. You can't have a preference.

And it is just gonna get better...
