I disagree and i don’t think this will be our final roster anyhow. When i say it’s not a pile of turd, I’m strictly talking talent. In an era that features wing depth and length to have 8 guys (counting TD) who are below a 8’ 7” standing reach and a 6’9” wingspan and of them only 1 is a proven ball handler is a pile of turd
Shroder
Monk
Carter
Lavine
Ellis
Clifford
DeRozan
TD
Dennis will be easy to move as long as he stays healthy IMOMeh. Team option 3rd year would have been nice, but 4 million guaranteed isn't horrible. Cuts into potential space though. Those little hits never work out for the Kings in the end. Hopefully Perry didn't just add more mess to the pile.
I appreciate the cynicism, and agree that so much has been "underwhelming" since draft day. But I have doubts that Doug Christie is going to let anyone coast on the team next year. This is such an underwhelming move. It’s so unexciting… but Schroeder also strikes me as the kind of guy who gets Sacramento money and immediately loses interest in trying to play good basketball ever again so that should be fun.
There's pretty much nothing a coach/organization in NBA can do if a player is not putting adequate effort. You can bench the guy/reduce his minutes, and fine him. Pretty much any move that will make the environment more toxic, make the player demand a trade, and force you to take pennies on the dollar. That's the price of guaranteed contracts.I appreciate the cynicism, and agree that so much has been "underwhelming" since draft day. Don't lie! You miss your dear ol' friend, cash considerations...Nice to have a GM who acquires 2nds versus wasting them. Good move

Really? He seems pretty passionate about the game to me but i guess we’ll see. Now, i’m not throwing a block party for this acquisition either but yeah lolThis is such an underwhelming move. SactownitisWasn’t George Hill a firey excellent leader hailed by Pop as such a good one?
Then Sacramento.
I don’t know anything about that, I’m just talking about his passion AND his impact on Detroit last year can’t be denied. George Hill is a good comparison but that doesn’t mean it’s gonna happen again. They have nothing to do with each other lol that’s just trauma talking and i get itWasn’t George Hill a firey excellent leader hailed by Pop as such a good one?

Stats don’t always accurately tell a story and certainly can’t always measure impactWhat's sad is the metrics show that George Hill's "awful" half season with us is basically Schroder's ceiling impact wise.
Or was Schroder's ceiling, back in his prime.

But to be fair, I can’t imagine any other fans are saying that about any of our current players.True but have you ever tuned into a game and thought that the Kings were going to have their hands full because Dennis Schroder is in town?
Unlike Shroeder, George Hill didn't want to play in Sac. Amazing how he perked right back up again as soon as he got traded. Similar story to Jason Terry if I recall correctly...Wasn’t George Hill a firey excellent leader hailed by Pop as such a good one?

Unfortunately, yes lolTrue but have you ever tuned into a game and thought that the Kings were going to have their hands full because Dennis Schroder is in town?
