Who's getting this thing organized for KF? Is JSin still doing this? If not, lets get someone. Or, I can go ahead and create a league for KF. Signups are already here for the coming football season. Let's try to get a good draft time and not wait until the last minute. Already, there are draft times being taken. Let's get this thing rolling.

By the way, the regulars get first priority. If there are any empty spots then first come first serve.

If this is the list, then please reply in this thread stating you are in. If you don't want to play, let us know ahead of time. I'll go ahead and create our league and put down the information later. As mentioned above in my previous post, old schoolers first and if there is any spots open then will go ahead and take the new ones.

Just curious, do you usually just play a free league like yahoo? and is there a little chip in money for a winner prize or just all in good fun?

Two of those people signed up but were virtually non-existent during the season. I'll be very surprised if they dare show their faces again.

Oh, and to make it official, VF21 Devils are in.

This is NOT the same league. This is the OFFICIAL (meaning first) KF Fantasy Football League. I believe it's been going longer than any other fantasy league here...

For new KF members: Preference in most of our fantasy leagues is going to be given to people who have been members of our board for a while. We know these people and know they'll be active in our league if they sign up.

This league and the one titled "biglog's league" are VERY active and have a high number of repeat participants. To be totally honest, they're very protective of their leagues and reluctant to let anyone brand new to the board into the league because one inactive person can really throw off a good league.

Some of our newer members will undoubtedly be starting more NFL fantasy leagues as the season approaches. If you're new to Kingsfans.com, your best bet for participating in a NFL fantasy league is through one of those.

(Hope I didn't step on your toes, Rock. Since I was answering questions, however, I thought I'd clear up the other question, too.)

No worries. Reading BigWaxer's post, I thought he was referring to how the settings were compared to bigdog's league to this one.

There is not a better quote then that one above. I see a lot of people saying let me in. There is absolutely nothing worse then people that are not really active.

I am a fantasy football freak and usually carry a few teams every year in various leagues with work, here and friends. Here is Waxer preaching... If your in a league be active, even if your team is sucking, FF is so fun there are plenty of resources that are free and pay out there. It also makes the real football season a lot more fun. If your like me, I only watch the Cowboys but! Because of fantasy I find myself watching other games to see how my players are doing. My Sundays are all about football and stats now.

Everyone has this story:> I was on a league last year, was the most active in trades/waiver moves and luckily I drafted Palmer. Anyway I was so far in the lead that basically half the league stopped participating. They stopped talking mess, stopped doing anything 3/4 the way through. Hollow victory it sucked and I won't rejoin that league this year.

So true. I would never root against my bengals, but if a fantasr RB is playing against the Bengals I hope all their scoring (when they lose) went through their RB :p

In an active league it really does make the football season that much more fun. Fantasy Football has to be the greatest thing to happen.

BTW, look at your profiles for the Kings leagues and see what places you came in all the years..

The only ones I could find was

2003 - 2nd place (#1 regular season record 10-4)
2004 - 4th place (#1 regular season record 11-4)
2005 - 3rd place (#1t regular season record 9-4)

Wonder where 2002, and 2001 went. I know I was in the league, but cannot for the life of me find it.

I guess I can come out of my cave now. I did win this league 2 years ago and put up a valiant effort last year. I think 4th. I'm definitely in.
I'll try and be around here more.
