After all that grousing the Suns only got their pick back this season, a bunch of second rounders, Dillon Brooks, and a guy that they have made absolutely clear they don’t want on their team lolBREAKING: The Phoenix Suns are trading two-time NBA Finals MVP Kevin Durant to the Houston Rockets for Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, the No. 10 pick in the 2025 draft and five second-round picks, sources tell ESPN. pic.twitter.com/EwrbA2ES9O

Miami apparently made a huge effort to get KD so I wonder how fast they’ll pivot to DeMar now.Derozan should be next chip to trade now
My initial thought, isn't Green somewhat redundant in Phx? Wonder if he may be moved as well.....
Because of the poison pill restriction in the Jalen Green rookie extension, this trade cannot be finalized until July 6. https://t.co/om0E6wnojx

Kevin Durant is on stage at @FanaticsFest finding out that he was traded to the Houston Rockets... Unreal.

And with that, Phoenix has $140 million invested into shooting guards who can’t play effectively next to each other
And we think the Kings roster lacks balance lol
Now owning four draft picks — 10, 29, 52, 59 — the Suns figure to be very active across the board.

Phoenix could net an instant starter in the lottery, but keep an eye on them potentially trading up from No. 29.
Michigan big Danny Wolf is a potentially strong trade-up target. pic.twitter.com/8SDEGi7Zse
Also, this is just ending with DeMar to Miami huh

REPORT — The Suns do not plan to trade Jalen Green, per @Gambo987. pic.twitter.com/ocUHyyBymB

This must mean packaging 29, 52, 59 to move up, right? Man, no way Wolf is a top-10 player, just no way.Now owning four draft picks — 10, 29, 52, 59 — the Suns figure to be very active across the board.

If the Suns did all this to end up trading the 10th pick nd 29th pick to draft Danny Wolf who they could likely just trade down for, they really are the new Kings of the west.
But, why?Wonder realistically what it would take to get Jalen Green diverted to Sac.
As has been the plan all alongAlso, this is just ending with DeMar to Miami huh

Shams: Heat wouldn't include Jaime Jaquez Jr., Nikola Jovic, Haywood Highsmith, No. 20 pick or other draft assets in deal for Kevin Durant.

lol what the **** were they offering then?
“Why won’t the Kings trade me DDR for Terry Rozier’s money and a conditional second rounder?” -Pat Riley probablyThen it doesn't look like they'll be getting DDR either.
They had to save those assets for Demar, duhShams: Heat wouldn't include Jaime Jaquez Jr., Nikola Jovic, Haywood Highsmith, No. 20 pick or other draft assets in deal for Kevin Durant.

I suppose we have to hope that they weren't high on one year of 37-year-old Durant, because we can't just give them DDR for free. They had to save those assets for Demar, duh

Biggest Heat question I have: was PHX asking for ALL OF JJJ/Jovic/20/future picks in a KD trade, or just some combination of those things?
If it’s the former, I get the hard line. If it’s the latter…well…
Turning Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, 4 first-round picks and a swap into Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks and a late lotto pick in a middling draft in the span of just 28 months is franchise detonation levels of asset mismanagement.
