Yeahhhh...let's pick up the same guy who dumped all over the franchise when we traded him.

And yeaahh...let's pick up the same guy who keeps signing contracts and never shows up to practice or play.

Great idea.

Since when is Keon Clark a killer of anything, besides his own character and loyalty to a team?

The only thing "Killer" that Keon Clark knows is Killer Green Bud. Hes a scumbag who is better served to be on any team but the kings.

give sackings a break......

reguardless of his attitude, he was a force down low on Defense, and the reason he is the 'mavs' killer is because he hit 2 game winning buzzer beaters against them i think it was....in the regular season

The only thing Clark WANTS to kill right now are brain cells. When a guy no-shows camp invites thats calledbeing too retired to bother to announce your retirement.

funny! funny is when no one had anything bad to say about this guy when he was in a kings uniform. funny is when he would average 9 points off the bench and atleast 2-3 shotblocks. if i was keon clark i would have been mad at the kings for trading me too! we need a rebounder/shotblocker, and it does help that hes pretty much automatic from 14 feet. yah, i guess when we are in foul trouble in game 7 of the WCF we will put Ostertag and Bradley in. truth is we need to deepen our bench a lil more.

Can't disagree with that. However, Clark was also wildly inconsistent when he was a King. Some games he just brought nothing to the table. His stint with the Kings may have been some of his best basketball. However, don't you think if he had something to offer another team, ANY team would have picked him up by now?

Maybe he's blazing with Ricky Williams!

I don't really see the Kings signing Keon. Remember last off season when the Kings did resigned him but traded him to the Jazz??

I agree with G M. If teams do want him, they would have got him. There must be something about Keon that no one wants? Cavs were really interest in him...but all the sudden dropped it. Never really did explain why.

I found this note from sacbee.com:

* So much for a Keon Clark sighting or signing. The oft-traveled and troubled shot-blocker was expected to sign a 10-day contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers, but the deal collapsed. This is the same Clark who, despite a solid season with the Kings two years ago, had issues with tardiness and later blew off rehabilitation assignments with the Utah Jazz. "Keon isn't coming," Cavaliers coach Paul Silas told reporters. "Write it down. He ain't coming."

Funny is when he chose to bad mouth the team, the coach, and fans big time when he left.

He has failed to report TWICE for teams earlier this year, teams who could really have used him.

We are not going to get Keon Clark back. That ship has sailed, struck a big iceberg and sunk to the bottom of the sea. Just like Clark's career...

Keon was garbage the 2nd half of the season he played with the Kings. He did NOTHING. He stopped blocking shots and had no inside/outside game at all. He never worked on getting better. He was just athletic and nothing more.

He was also a NON FACTOR in the playoffs.
