Kenyon for Randolph?

Denver Post - Rumor out of Denver, according to the Denver Post, is that the Nuggets will look to deal Kenyon Martin to Portland in exchange for Zach Randolph.

Randolph, like Martin, has had difficulty getting along with his head coach and has made overtures about wanting out of the Pacific Northwest.

Denver placed calls last offseason for Randolph and the Blazers weren't interested, but the situation has changed.

Nuggets' assistant GM Mark Warkentein helped draft Randolph, another reason why a trade might be logical.

Denver would finally get a legit inside guy for offense, and get rid of Kenyon's contract and health problems. Don't know how Kenyon/Portland would mix though.

This is almost a comical proposal -- one overpaid bad-character microfracture-surgery guy for another. Sort of like trading lung cancer for a brain tumor.

Dumb trade for Denver. Randolph doesn't play D and shoots a low as hell FG%. They need a shooter or an expiring contract to re-sign Nene. Gosh they would be trading for Mo Taylor and Q rich or something.

i could easily see isiah thomas pulling the trigger on this kind of trade, to be honest. and i know that's easy to say because the man makes idiotic moves in personnel seemingly in his sleep, but denver would be getting a coupla decent role players that they could utilize for the bloated contract of oft-injured kenyon martin, and...well, it really makes no sense whatsoever for new york...but that's why it'll happen! ;):D

Good. That trade means that Nene is still expendable and they still won't be able to rationalize another big contract in the front court w/ Carmelo still un-extended.
