DALEMBERT is the 2nd leading shot blocker behind only Dwight Howard.... PETRIE PLEASE GET THIS GUY!!!

no ones gonna take Thomas and take Noc....

no philly isn't gonna trade iggy....

were not trading for Bosh...

No were not gonna sign Bosh...

We made our trade with the hornets... Okafor isn't coming...

Haywood is also expiring makes no sense...

Sam Dalembert is the best we can do right now... he will be a trade asset next year... and hes so much better than anything we got right now...

PETRIE PULL THE TRIGGER NOW!!!

the only other option which i also dont think would happen is Al Jefferson... but that would be for K-mart and some... i'd make that trade i'd make in a heartbeat... but its not gonna happen

You express your opinions as factual.

Dont forget these are pro athletes (aka) glorified jocks. Scratch a check and they will come, follow the money in sports.

forget trading anyone or anything else other than Kenny Thomas and May for Sam Dalembert....

Eh, I think the more sensible deal is Nocioni + expiring filler(Armstong even) for Dalembert. Sixers then move Daly, and save 5-6 million next year(which keeps them under the LTT) to improve their roster. Kings front the money owed to Noc and get a position of need. It's a win-win.

Err from Sacramento's point of view its a win but why would Philly need Nocioni?! They are already loaded at SF and PF and the last thing that team needs is a tweener forward with a longer contract than the player they supposedly want to get rid off.

There is absolutely NO way Sixers trade Dalembert to us for Nocioni. If we get Dalembert then it would require us to give up Thomas.

Yeah I said it at the top... No team I gonna give us a big for NOC... No one wants NOC... If they trade Sam. D. It for k9 and may or some other expiring contract

Thank you for all of the statements in bold. Sometimes dreams must be crushed.

you realize that most Philly fans consider Dalembert to be "untradable" and "garbage" -- idk, guess that's what happens you have a player with a low IQ for like 7 years lol.

Depends what you define tradeable as. Dalembert is untradable. Thats been proven over numerous trade attempts. Houston already said they want no parts of Dalembert and they could include Iggy if they wanted. When a player is tough to move or there is no realistic trade to make? They are untradable to me. Dalembert next season becomes an expirer which would make him tradeable.

No one is running to trade for Elton Brands contract. You can package Iggy with him. At the end of the day you will be making an unrealistic trade proposal.

Lebron James is untradeable. How so? There is not a realistic trade out there to be made for him to be moved. First of all Clevland doesnt want to give him up. Second who in the NBA could make a trade for Lebron? When you are sitting there trying your hardest to figure out something and resort to unrealistic trade packages. Guess what? Untradeable.

They need Nocioni BECAUSE they're going to be Luxury tax payers next year and Nocioni makes less than half of what Dalembert will next year. Both players are owed roughly the same amount of money, but Nocioni's is spread out over an extra year. Also, the Sixers are desperate for perimeter shooting, and even though Noc has had a rough stretch as of late, he's still an above-average outside shooter.

So this deal fulfills two purposes for the Sixers. Gets them well under the LTT for next year AND gives them a player to help in one of their major weaknesses. Armstrong can go with, as an expiring, to match salaries with the 125% rule and fill the positional void at the 5 that Dalembert leaves. This also creates more playing time for Speights who's a very promising young player and Brand is now supplanted firmly in the rotation, maximizing their investment in him.

Just an FYI, but Philly has canvasses all 29 teams in regards to Dalembert for expirings, and not one team bit. If they can lower their financial liabilities next year(Which Nocioni does in my suggested trade), then IMO, they bite. Because at 66 million + rookie contracts, the Sixers are going to be paying a pretty penny to have good Sam Dalembert steal minutes away from the progressing Speights.

It's a similar situation we found ourselves in last year with Miller and Hawes. We got rid of the money now, and dispersed it over extra years while freeing up time for our younger players.

It's completely reasonable deal, and the going rate in the current economic climate between teams.
