JT Gets NBA Highlight Love

Yeah, I can see this kid doing some big things for us, now that I've seen him a bit...should be interesting how he plays against elite players like Boozer, Garnett, Duncan, etc.

The best thing that could happen to him playing against those guys is not put up great numbers or hold them down (although that would be cool) no the best thing is for him to LEARN. His first season he should be like a sponge and absorb any and all information, examples, advice from any PF in the league. I would love for C-Webb to join our staff and help develop him as he has alot of the same skills. Maybe Chris could help fine tune them at a quick pace.

A lot of people have mentioned the Kings getting a big man coach. I would love to see Webb given a shot. He's a bright guy and he's able to articulate. I don't know that he would be a good coach, but I think it would be worth a shot, and it would be a popular choice.

That way he would also get to spend more time at his resturant.

I see you both of your points, but I respectfully disagree with you both. Webber did what a PF should early in his career, through the mid part of his career and latter, he was a double high post forward. His passing and hands are hard to match, but he did not do what JT is doing. He didn't bang and go inside and play the low post as much as he should have.

I don't want any of those habits or traits rubbing off on JT personally.

Webber was very good with us at the same position as Jason...it doesn't matter if Webber was more of a high post type of guy or not...there was a time when he went down low often.

Point is people see similarities between the two and if Webber could come in here and give JT a bit of his own knowledge then I for one am all for it.

i would not want webb teaching this guy high post stuff. we need someone who can teach him some low post moves. this kid ALREADY can shoot. that was one of webbs deficiencies early as a player. maybe when this kid learns from a true low post player we can bring webb in to fill in the gaps of passing.

No what Webber did was play to his strengths. Thats what you would ask any player to do. If Webber can help teach Jason or Spencer for that matter to play to their strengths they will be more the wiser and better players. Nobody is going to just take him and say ok no post stuff only elbow jumpers. Thats ludacris to even think that conversation would happen. Given all that, Webber is one of the best players in franchise history and lead us a point in which we were one of the best teams in the league. Minus the refs and playing against one of the best teams in NBA history and Webber would have brought Sacramento a championship.

I can see why you wouldn't want any of Webbers habits rubbing off on JT.

a dunk in traffic and a wide open dunk in transition. WHAT A PLAYER. give him the maximum. cut kevin martin. sign the guy for 6 years 85 mill. get started on our 2009 championship rings

I do love JT and think he will be good, but yeah those clips were not much to get excited over.

problem is idiotic broadcasters think that makes for a good watch. Seeing a guy dunk. The truth is if JT never took a shot he has shown me alot of skill in every other area. If anybody can't see that then i question what there assesment of a good player is.
