News bulletin:

Local basketball historians have discovered a startling fact about the Sacramento Kings. They actually existed and did quite well before the arrival of Shareef Abdur-Rahim. Reports coming out of the Standford Research Institute, while still under wraps, are revealing that it is highly possible the Sacramento Kings will also exist and probably do well at some point in the future with or without Shareef Abdur-Rahim.

what exactly are you trying to say? Shareef all of a sudden owns this team? No one said that... What his 11 shots per game and scoring 16.5 ppg with 54 % is too much as in he has took over and disrupted the Sacramento Kings and the whole organization?

What we're trying to say is we're really beyond tired of reading post after post after post after post after post of you defending SAR against ANY kind of criticism.

Dude, your shtick is getting very old and very tiresome.

Did Shareef PAY you to stick up for him no matter what? You're acting like he owns the team and he's the master and the rest of the players are the disaster. You get mad every time someone even says something half way negative about him and it's getting old. Maybe people have said negative things about him for a reason? Maybe his teams have lost consistently for a reason? What is so bad about saying the Sacramento Shareef?

Read the name of this thread. I'm trying to backup up my statement that Shareef isn't the dissapointment and that it is other players on this team who should be considered dissapointments considering how long they have played for this team and the amount of money they make.

Shareef is a member of the team. He has to be part of the disappointment Kings fans are feeling about the current state of the team. If you cannot understand that, then there's really no reason for anyone to even respond to your comments any longer.

Who only me, if you take a look at this forum, there are also a few other people who support Shareef and agree with me that Shareef has not been the dissapointment to this team.

I have taken a look at the forum. I read pretty much every single post that's made sooner or later. I see people discussing and debating, I see articulate comments, and then I see someone who is such a SAR homer that I am half convinced you have to be related to him.

This year, the only player you CAN'T blame anything on is Reef.
That is about all I need to read to get the underlying gist of your completely biased posts. You're wanting to give all this credit to SAR and place all the blame on everybody else, which is totally ridiculous. How can anybody give SAR much credit for anything? What has he ever really accomplished? I'm not saying he's to blame for all the poor teams he's played for, but you better believe that he contributed his fair share to their losing.

You're trying to compare him to Brand before this season and Webber before he came to Sacramento which is laughable. Those two players are true PFs in which you could build a team around. Just because Brand never made the playoffs, everybody knows he is a legit all-star, which is more than I can say for SAR.

He's a nice player but by no means a first or second option. He doesn't have a big enough inside presence or rebound well enough to play PF, nor is he quick enough or shoot well enough to play SF. Tweeners belong coming off the bench; he could make an excellent 6th man and there is no shame in that, and that is why he is getting paid the MLE. To think that the Kings should build around him and add players that compliment his skills is so ridiculous and outrageous.

KT is also a tweener, but apparently he plays better as a starter, so I think for now it is wise to keep him starting and bring SAR off the bench when he comes back. Plus KT is a better rebounder which is something the Kings sorely need, hell I wouldn't even be opposed to starting Skinner at the PF.

Not to hijack the thread, but I just noticed that the OP has only contributed twice to this thread, and the second "contribution" was:

you can beat your opponent night in and night out when you're getting outrebounded 15-3.
Am I the only person who gets annoyed by this sort of thing?

We used to have someone - I can't remember his name - who would post an outrageous statement of some kind, with the direction to "Discuss." And he rarely if ever participated in the discussion.

...

So, to answer your question...No, you're not the only person who gets annoyed by this sort of thing.

;)

I think he mean't you can't beat your opponent when you're outboarded 15-3.
