DeMya Walker, basketball player of VBM SSAU: My brothers taught me fighting
DeMya Walker came to Samara two months ago. But the fans had time to take fancy with her. Especially she impressed fans in the game VBM SSAU vs. UMMC. Our correspondent decided to find out some facts about DeMya's biography.
She is like Centaurs
— I am Capricorn, — said DeMya. — And in real life I am look like Centaurs. I am aggressive when playing, I must be the best on the court. But outside the court I am completely different - very kind, tender and easy-going.
DeMya's brothers taught her to fight for her own hand. She has five brothers. Two of them played American football which is very tough sport. When she was at school one girl frightened her.
— I came home crying and complained of her to my brothers. But the reply was «you have to teach her a lesson. She is just two years older than you. You are higher and stronger».
— After these words I had nothing to do just beat her and I won.
I took my friends for dates
At 14 years old I began to play basketball. And she got ahead very quickly. But she was popular not only as basketball player. Senior guys fall in love with pretty and well-shaped DeMya.
— I was very loveful girl. But my mama didn't let me to stay with boyfriends in private so I had to take my best girlfriend with me.
I Met Ben pushing the rivals
She met her love four years ago. Ben is also American and basketball player. Now she performs for German «Braunschweig». They met each other on the disco in the USA. That day she came to the party with her boyfriend and he with girlfriend. But he was staring at her for the whole evening. I was expected that he came up to me but he didn't. When I went outside I saw him talking with girls. I was mad with him and went though pushing the girls. He followed me and we met. But they decided to be just friends. Then Ben signed contract and left. They lost sights of each other. Last year playing with Baltiyskaya Zwezda in St. Petersburg she got an e-mail form Ben.
«I want to have a lot of sons!»
They are going to get married officially in a year. And now they just miss each other very much and talk every day by Internet. The couple has bought a house in Houston, Texas. There five bed rooms in the house. — I dream to have a lot of children but only boys. My height is 193 cm and Ben's — 201 cm, imagine our daughter, no boys are better.
