silver lining: when the kings win the trophy years from now, it'll be MAJORLY sweet. cuz this season is going to be quite trying on my nerves.

Hornets are in a way bad situation then us we're expected to get to the playoffs what are Hornets expected to do? I mean I know it's early in the Season but losing to a team like NO worries you alot.

Obviously we have better players then NO, but as for team chemistry right now, no were not ready, were not ready to play and compete, This team has made major moves, changes, and what not, mix in a bad shooting & rebounding effort with no Identity, and this is what you get. The Kings are going to be 100x better then how they played tonight.
I think team chemistry is a pretty reasonable excuse for the determining factor of that loss.

everything today pointed to a new orleans win.
the emotions of playing for a city that right now does not exist. the fact the kings got to oklahoma only 6-7 hours before the game. some of the absolutly bizarre calls in the game. and the complete lack of the kings being able to hit an outside shot!
This game sucked and the kings lost, but man way to many of you are jumping off the ship, this only counts as one loss nothing more. and the hornets do have a few good players and they also have young players who do not know they are supposed to lose to better teams. this makes them dangerous. just because you do not have superstars does not make you a team which sucks.
All of you who are taking way too much from this one loss!

WE LOSE TO THE HORNETS at least once each season and,at least for the past few seasons, the loses were big. No reason to panic over losing to them in particular. What worries me is our lack of unity.
Also, the Hornets had to make a show of it tonight. They are trying to impress their new "temporary" home. There was more on the line for them. I do not expect similiar play from EITHER team again.
That being said, we SHOULD NOT HAVE LOST TO THEM. No reason can totally justify a loss like by our team to them. Not impressive. Tomorrow will be better.

i looked at tonight as a game we should win. Tomorrows night game is a game we should loose. Back to Back home openers for the opposing team on the road all that crap. So that being said if we do win tomorrow we are were we should be. the Kings worst scoring night last year was 73 points. We beat that record and only 13 assist. You can expect us to jump out on Houston and be leading at halftime by about 10. What happens after that is a mystery but us coming out fired up with 20 assist by halftime is what i expect tomorrow.
