Hey all....I am in a really great musical called Meshuggah-Nuns about singing and dancing nuns and one rabbi on a cruise ship. It is playing in San Rafael CA through May. Below is the review from the local rag with the information to call. If you are in the area and want a fun night of belly laughs and some great singing, come on by and check it out.

"Crazy" Nuns can sing!!!

"No one would expect it, Yiddish from a nun", but that's what you get in "Meshuggah-Nuns". The fifth in the popular Nunsense series, this production by TheatreNow is a music lovers romp performed by a powerhouse quintet of singers. The show which is plotless as the actors are quick to teel the audience, takes place on a cruise. As the curtain rises, the cast of the onboard entertainment, Fiddler On The Roof, has taken seasick, so the Little SIsters of Hobokken tale over. The result is a variety/burlesque performance with everything from magic tricks to one-line jokes to bingo at intermission. There's also a few Fiddler tunes with new lyrics including Contrition!!(to the tune of Tradition) But it's not the jokes or references to pop culture that keep the audience enthralled. It is Daniela Innocenti-Beem, in the role of Sister Robert Anne, who stops the show with her rendition of "I'll Find A Song To Sing," which showcases her wide-randing ability to belt jazz to rock to opera. And she sings sweet and true in the show's one serious number, "A Love Like This," backed up by Julie Ekuoe-Totou and Kayla Gold. Ekuoe-Totou, overshadowed by Innocenti-Beem managed to claim the stage for one number. These talented performers, singing their hearts out in the intimate theatre are not to be missed. Given the critical acclaim for Trailer Trash, their first show this season, TheatreNow is a group worth watching.

The show is at The Belrose-1415 Fifth Avenue San Rafael, CA
Tickets are $25.00.
The remaining shows are April 23, May 6, 20 and 21st.

According to the review you must be really talented. The musical sounds like fun. Wish I could go. I wish you good luck everytime you step out onto a stage.

Well I'm just a bit too far away to make the show...but I will definitely pass the info on to my peeps in Sac-town ;)
Yay for you Daniela...Break a leg!

Daniela, I am truly sorry that I am not in your area. I enjoy going to plays and I especially love musicals.

I'll be moving back to Sac next month. Next time, I'll try to make it. It would be worth the trip to meet such a talented member of KingsFans.com.

We are proud of you!!

Thanks everyone. It is a lot of fun. My passion.....other than the Kings of course. :p What is great about this show is that I am on stage with friends who have been singing and performing together for 15 years. I am talking about some of the most talented, truly inspiring people who blow me away contantly. We decided it was time to start our theatre company and not only put up mainstream musicals, but also showcase the other talents in our circle by putting up their original shows and music. So we started the company TheatreNow 3 years ago. It is a rewarding and most awesome time.

Here is the picure from the paper. I am the one on the far right in the hard hat and glasses. In one number we spoof the village people. I tried to get them to let me wear my Kings hard hat but it didn't show up good enough against all the black in the costume. Oh well. I made it so my charachter gets to wear black and white Chuck Taylor, because I am the cool young nun. Woo Hoo.
