Hey everybody, I just joined. I'm a big Louisville Cardinal fan as well as Kings fan. I just wanted to know what you all thought about drafting Taquan Dean to the Kings.

He's Garcia's close friend, a combo guard/undersized SG. Good shooter, slasher, defender, athletic, clutch.

I don't think he's a 1st rounder, but I think he'd fit in with the Kings. He'd a B-Jax-type/6th man off the bench for anyone.

He didn't have a very good senior year and might not get drafted. Since the Kings don't have second rounder he'd be a good invite to camp

Would be nice but I think we have our wing positions locked up for the most part, unless Bonzi walks.

Tend to agree, one of the young swingmen probably would have to be gone also. Two in general (aside from Ron of course), would have to be gone, for drafting another wing. There'd be no room with the depth already there.

If Bonzi walks though, I think a swing with some exp. replaces him in the rotation, while Martin starts. Can't see the crop being Ron and a bunch of rooks and 1-year players.

I'm still a fan of Hilton Armstron for his shot blocking. I don't know if he'll fall to the Kings considering how weak this draft is, but it's worth a shot if he's there. He'd be a huge defensive and rebounding asset coming off the bench.

i really don't mind as long as we dont draft a sg/sf or an pf/c who is not athletic and cannot block...

im expecting petrie to draft either a pg or an athletic shotblocking 4/5 come draft night...

I'm expecting a defensive/athletic big or a combo guard (Douby/Diaz/Stinson).

A PG like Rondo/Lowry would be good, but then we'll have 4 PGs, two of them young, so one will go or we'll have a log-jam.

I'm just waiting for our whole line-up to be 6'7 and below so everybody can play PG and SG. Then so for the next draft Petrie will actually begin come to his senses then he will start to draft bigmen. Boy do I love small ball.
