I have to give it up for our boy Cousins!

He's been really keeping his emotions in check. He was hacked out there several times tonight and didn't let it Get to him. Just did his thing and dropped an easy 30+ on those losers. Keep it up kid and you'll lead this team to big things!

After his little b***** fit in GS, he seems like a totally different guy. He seems to be harnessing his frustrations on court into kicking his opponents butt, rather than melting down and pissing and moaning . And just overall seems much more relaxed and in control. Very refreshing and very fun to watch .

Cousins' passion can't melt steel be... I mean, there's an easier explanation than outright sabotage I think the players were extremely dispirited due to the fact that the coaching was out of touch with what this team was built to do and the type of talent it had. As soon as the narrative started to change (probably due to Cuz + Rondo's meetings with Karl in December), everyone began playing more focused and motivated. As for Cuz specifically, I think the formula is pretty simple - if he feels like the team/coaches have his back, he lets his game do the talking.

I wonder what the turning point was for him? Maybe the mother at the OKC game telling him to stop like an 8 year old? who knows. He needs to keep this up...this is too small of a sample size to say he's turned the corner. I like where he is heading though, can't take anything away from the guy.

There's nothing inexplicable about it, and it's no coincidence that his demeanor has improved as the Kings become a TEAM. Watching Rondo, Casspi and WCS, it's pretty obvious what Cousins has needed most this whole time is fellow warriors, which is something Doug Christie has been saying all season. And, giving credit where credit is due, it helps having a coach who isn't just another guy whose career isn't going anywhere. I criticize George Karl a lot, but he's part of the equation.
