I've enjoyed the stories of Middle Earth for some 35 years now, but this is a bit much. I remember hearing Prof. Tolkien was alarmed when he heard of the hobbit-themed wedding in the 60's - I'm glad he's not alive to see this.
This event will be going on right outside my workplace - if I see ONE pair of elven ears in my shop, I'll scream!
