For now, a pretty fair assessment. I thought they understated Thompson's possible effect on the team and overstated Greene's. Everyone seems to be making a case for Greene because of one 40pt game in the summer league. Don't get me wrong, I like Greene a lot, but I think that Thompson will make a bigger impact this next year than Greene will. Lets not forget that Thompson played four years of college ball and Greene played just one.

I hope that I'm wrong, and That Greene can have an effect right away. But I would rather not count on it, and I certainly don't want to put pressure on a young player.

Other than that, I thought they saw what we see. A young team with potential. A team with a future. A team starting its journey back up the hill, instead of a team half way down the hill on the other side. It could be a bumpy road though.

Yeah, this was kind of a dumb preview in some respects. In their video the "specialist" (intern I would think) referred to Thompson as very raw on the skills end, but high on the atheletic end. Did he really read his scouting report or see him play in Vegas. Compared to the other big men left on the board when the kings pick came along, Thompson's skills were good and his athleticism maybe just above average. Compared with Randolph, Thompson is much more ready for NBA minutes.

Greene having an impact from the beginning....not likely. He's got the upside, but his experience is seriously lacking. He will get similar minutes that Gerald Wallace did when the Kings drafted him.

I dont think so...6'9 cannot be tought...at the sf position. And he plays SF, there is no argument there. He will probably be the 6th man come january. just my opinion
