The idea that Tyreke will be one of the non-Griffin names in contention for ROY seems logical, simply because we can expect him to get something on the order of 30 minutes a game AND be a focal point of the offense. My initial guess is that the only other rookie with a good shot at 30 minutes is Harden. With some potential open minutes in New Jersey, Terrence Williams could sneak in there too, so that's maybe four guys.

Others who could get to 30 minutes (biggest obstacle):
Flynn (Sessions)
Jennings (Ridnour)
Curry (stacked backcourt)
DeRozan (open minutes, but maybe too raw)
Thabeet (raw)
Holiday (raw)

That's probably it. If Evans can get to the line and score like we expect, while playing solid D, his name's in the hat for sure.

I would say that Griffin has to be the favorite going in. After that I think you pretty well summed it up. If Evans plays the way I think he can, then it will be between him and Griffin. Griffin has the edge on name recognition alone.
