I beleive I speak for some healthy percentage of sports fans when I say screw the NHL and its disgustingly greedy little players. Stupid stupid stupid.

But then again, I was never much of a hockey fan anyway. Now however I plan on just flat out ignoring them and hoping they all end up out of work and begging for a job at the Ice Capades.

*yawn*

i'm a little too preoccupied with the sac kings to care about hockey.

only way i'd ever be a hockey fan is if my cousin makes the NHL ( he's in the minors right now, the level right below the NHL)

Hockey means less sportscenter time for basketball, which means less sportscenter time for the kings, which means.... uh..... uh...., yeah, hockey sucks!

And yet another hockey thread turns into another hockey disparagement thread.....

That window of opportunity is teetering on being shut. Better hope your injury-prone free agent pickups can make it through without missing too many games.

Gotta admit that I'm more amped-up about the NHL right now, as I'm more hopeful for my hockey team's chance for a championship than the Kings.

It did not start that well last night, Sundin got nailed in the eye with a puck. Still no news on how long or if he will be out.

Hell of a game last night though against Ottawa. Should have won but oh well

The Fan 590 said 4-6 weeks. Geez. And I thought he had been wearing a visor for awhile too. Maybe it was just to shield himself while a prior injury healed.

Kings don't get airtime on ESPN anyways.

I HATE it went ESPN decides to show a stupid hockey game instead of a basketball game. Even the Hornets vs. the Bobcats is better spent watching than hockey. Come to think of it, this past year was so peaceful with their lockout...

It was only for a brief time that he had and then he took it off. You'd think more players would be wearing considering what can happen and what did happen to Bryan Berrard. Mind you they can be a pain in the a** too...they fog up and impair your vision when looking down for a puck.

Is Hockey a new extreme sport? Is it played anything like that game they cancelled a couple years ago with the same name that nobody cared about? :p

Just playing with ya'll I did go see a Sharks game at Arco one time, and it was fun. But I was not converted to a Hockey fan. I guess it's not for me.

Give me Football, and Basketball year round and I would be a happy guy.

I was actually turned off on baseball as well for their greedy ways.
