A lot of the proposed air trades have two players going out for one incoming. So it's certainly possible that a roster spot will be available.

I think that very unlikely. First and foremost, the fans love Cardwell and would rebel. Ranadive is very sensitive to fan attendance. Second, he does everything that Doug Christie has been preaching from day one, and the coach will not let the guy go if he has any say at all in the matter.

Why are some of you obsessed with no trades being done yet? 99% of NBA in-season movement/trades happen the week before and up to the deadline.

I'll happily be mad, right with you, if nothing changes post-deadline. Would be more ammo to confirm my reservations about Perry/Christie being significant downgrades to the previous regime.
