Heat's brooms at the ready...

Heat have outscored the Wizards 40 - 25 in the third quarter of game 4 to take an 11 point lead. Wade has 38 points on 13 of 18 shooting and 12 of 13 from the free throw line. That right there is a perfect indication of why Shaq didn't win the MVP this season. Oh yeah, Shaq isn't playing again in game 4.

Well it was the Wiz... Who expected them to beat the heat? Even if it was a sweep or 5 or 6 games this was expected.

The IN/Det series is prolly IMO the most exciting right now.

I think no matter who plays the Heat next they have a small chance of winning. Heat in 5 over Det or Ind. They will win first two at home and split on the road (unless they play Det... then Det may win both home games) and then Miami will win game 5 and if necessary they may go to a game 6.

Miami got something like 8 pts and less than 10 boards I think out of their Center position so with a rested and healthy Shaq they will be dominant.

If Indy eliminates Detroit, Miami will have the easiest trip to the Finals in history. By far. Washington might as well have been a bye for Miami.

back to back sweep, that's playoff in east

Nope...It's a dominate team asserting it's authority over much weaker teams.

I'm riding the Heat bandwagon. I began liking them last year when they were 0-8 (Why? I haven't the slightest idea). But, I think whoever they play next is done, if Shaq is healthy. No Shaq, Detroit will win, or at least make it very interesting.

I wouldn't be suprised if Heat beat the Wizz even if Wade sat with Shaq. Thats how bad their defense was. The Heat role players pretty much outplayed the Wiz Big three when it mattered most.

I think the Pacers just might give the Heat more trouble than anyone else. At least, that's what I'm hoping.

It's going to be very hard to count out Detroit, seeing what they did to the Lakers last year. Granted, the Heat is a completely different (and better, in my opinion) team than last year's Lakers, it can't be ignored that Detroit just knows how to win when it counts. I don't think they'll be able to dominate a good team like they did against the Lakers last year, but it's going to be one hell of a job delivering the knockout punch against that team. The guarantee of a game 4 win versus the Pacers should show how much confidence they have and that they have the ability to back it up. Heat-Pistons would be a great series.

Not so fast. There are basically two teams in the East who were any good at all entering the playoffs and that was Detroit and Miami. Indiana has surprised me but I don't see them getting by Detroit. They should have just cancelled the East Playoffs and put Detroit and Miami in the ECF. Detroit beat Shaq last year with Kobe and they will give Miami all they can handle.
