4 missed free throws in like the last 3 minutes of this game...has there ever even been a game where this team has hit clutch free throws ?

i mean, the kings are stastically the best free throw shooting team in the league...but every kings fan knows that means not a damn thing.........

Kings didn't deserve this one, its probably better they didn't win this one.
your kidding me...

never ever EVER EVER under any circumstance is a loss better then a win...never EVER

At least now you won't hear, "well a win is a win". A win isn't always a win. If the flaws on the this squad weren't already apparent they are now, another blown lead, no D, impatient offense, sloppy play.

uh, easy on the team. every team hits the wall sometimes.

i know even peja missed a free throw, but they are human. it's just one of those nights.
i am proud of the fight they put up during the last minute and half.
yes, GoSACtown, no loss is ever better than a win. i hope things had turned out differently.
let's just hope by the next game they'd be back to the old kings that we know.

Plenty. Any Kings fan would know that. guess you're not one.

hah, guess im not one.......the subject title wasnt meant literally, it was stated in that question form to try to state that this team chokes a lot.... im a realest, ill live and die with sac, but i like the point out the obvious, unlike some of us who thinks this team is pure perfection

I don't think the team is perfect just stating the obvious... that this team has hit plenty of key free throws and huge shots these last six years. Dont say things if you don't mean them.

i dont' think this team is pure perfection, but i certainly don't think free throw is one of the problems either. they are the leading team in free throws in the league.
all that to say what we saw tonight is not normal and i am not sure what happened.

to bad it wasn't at GS or we could blame it on the rim...

I was also thinking this. I would rather they get a kick in the butt from these losses and get slapped with the reality that they need to make adjustments/changes now while there is plenty of season left to play.

Good point.

If you'd been fan long enough you would have seen that indeed we have had nights where we have pulled out wins because of our free throw.

I suggest you vent your anger and watch some kings tapes where we won the game because of our free throw shooting.

I just think nobody can forget the Lakers series. That was crushing.
Umm... How did the Lakers get into this mix? We're talking about the Kings and their free throw shooting; Not our losses in the previous Playoffs.

Keep in mind that this is a Regular season game. Chill. :p

The Kings' poor free throw shooting in game 7 of that 2002 series vs. the Lakers is to me as the slow grounder getting between Buckner's legs *was* to Red Sox' fans prior to this past World Series...

I suppose if I gave a rats patoot about baseball, that might make sense...

Regardless, 2002 is over. It's time to move on...

Agreed.

We lost. We feel bad. We get over it. We move on.

GO KINGS! :)

It was also 2002. You really need to let it go...

Heh, you're right, but I don't think I ever will. :p

I can't knock the Kings this year though. They've improved from the last 2 seasons, and Vlade isn't even here. He was the most lax ft shooter anyway.
