I like the Webber schoolings. How about top 10 plays in the Sacramento era? I'm sure half of them will be Jason Williams plays but thats ok because he was just about the most exciting player we've had.

Um, not exactly.

We found someone to take the nutjob off our hands (see the current Artest thread in the NBA forum for the latest antics of that fun-loving Ron-Ron) and were lucky enough to receive more back than a half-eaten sandwich and some stale chips.

Yeah, but we didn't. We received a first round pick named Donte Greene. And he needs to play.

My strong suspicion is they're sitting him now to showcase Salmons, which doesn't bother me in the least. Right now the most important thing we need to do is move the players that won't be part of the future. Donte has potential but it was clear right from the beginning that he's gonna need work. He'll get that during this off-season, especially if he stays in Sacramento and works on his game with the other guys who stick around most of the summer.

Trading Salmons is the more important task at hand. Greene will have plenty of time to learn and hone his skills and, if the trade goes through, he'll have an opportunity for more playing time.

It's been stressed recently by Coach Natt and a couple of his teammates that Kevin isn't at 100% yet. While I don't disagree with the grade, based on the performance, I do disagree - therefore - with the part I bolded. Four games in five nights is bad enough for someone who didn't miss a considerable chunk of the season. When you add in how much he's been playing since he came back, PLUS the 5th game effect, PLUS the total effort he put forth the night before in Cleveland, I think it would be almost predictable that he would run out of gas.

Just my three cents, of course.

I think Kevin's been schooled on defense because of that ankle. It's a lot harder to go laterally with an ankle, than straight ahead. So he can play kamikazee defense and go for steals because he's going straight ahead to do it. but actually staying in front of somebody is very difficult.
