Well Kevin is actually the 2nd person to make it Professionally. The other is Jay Payton who currently plays outfield for the Oakland Athletics. But to get back to your question. Kevin didnt really blossom until his junior year in high school. If I remember correctly back in his freshman year (maybe his junior year too) he only weighed 155lbs. So to look at him then and now is a big difference. I think that he also gives a lot of credit to his high school coach. What I feel is one of the best coaches here in Ohio at the highschool level. If you were to ask Kevin I think he would tell you thats where he learned the most about the game of basketball and how to use screens and how much time is needed to make it to the next level. He was always fun to watch. His work ethic is out of this world and would never settle for anything less.
He seems to give a lot back to the community as well. Like playing in 3 on 3 tournaments so the people of Zanesville can actually see him play and how much he has developed as an athlete. I Think that every kid in zanesville has at least 3 of his autographs. But Kevin is Kevin and he will never turn one down.
But Sorry I am new to all this...and GO KINGS
