.gif editing & resizing help pls?

hi! what program/software do you guys use in making those very artsy animated .gif files? & also i need to resize a .gif file i'd love to use as my avatar but dunno how. can anyone recommend a good software/program i can use to do this? I'm not a pc artist but just know the basics.

Hope y'all can help me out on this & i'd greatly appreciate it if you can direct me to a website where i can download such.

Hmm... Your best bets for the photo restoration thing is either with:

Adobe Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro

For animating I Use a number of programs:

Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Image Ready, and Macromedia Fireworks

I think theres a couple Photoshop demos flying around.

If you go to google and google up a photoshop demo you can find a couple demos (for 30 days)

If all else fails. Feel free to PM me and I'll help you out and do it for you. ;)
